Beko WM5100 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

+ Easy to use! Good price! Highly recommend to those whom only need to have a simple everyday wash! Exactly what I need for unfurnished rented property.

+ I live in an upstairs flat and was very aware the noise my old machine made and the effect this had on my neighbours but this machine is so quiet I forget its on. Big improvement on my last one. Also a good size fits neatly into the space.

- The only problem I have is that the cycle times are too long and the machine does not indicate how long the cycle has to run.

+ Easy to use - even my husband can understand it. Also more energy efficient than my previous machine.

- Time lapse before you can open the door at the end of a cycle. Same on all machines, but annoying anyway.

- it only recieves cold water - then it has to begin heating it up !!! this takes valuable time and is a waste of energy because there is hot water available in the central heating system which is perfectly usable.

+ I wanted a cheap washing machine for occasional use - this has proved to be just what I was looking for. I did not want a load of features I would never use. This is about the cheapest you can get and does what it says. If you want a super quiet, quick machine with lots features and willing to pay more then find something else.

- small, no timer to tell you how long the cycle is/time remaining. relatively low power for the spin cycle means the dryer will have to run longer

- Could do with an inbetween cycle time, Either 1hr 40min or 30mins. The 30 min cycle does really get the cloths 100% as the rinse is too short so it leaves residue on the darker clothes.

+ After 3 Bosch machines and short life I went to Beko as I have a Beko Freezer and cooker. Good build quality and easy to use. The drum is shallow ( front to back) but large in diameter. This makes it very good for the 1000 spin speed. You get more water out this way. I find it nearly as good as my old 1200 spin. Its quite and gentle on the clothes. The wash times are long but everything is clean. Great door seal etc and quality controls.

+ so simple to use even my other half can put it on!!!!!! nice and quiet compared to other washing machines we have had in the past and the drum is plenty big enough for 2 and a baby

- only bad point is some of the programmes are quite long but dosent really matter as i just do these washes over night.

+ This appliance looks nice, is a reliable make at a fantastic price, but more importantly it is extremely user friendly. all you have to do is select the temperature and then press start!

- The cycle takes quite a while but as long as you keep up to date with your washing it doesnt present a problem. however the energy efficiency is garade A meaning it doesnt cost the earth to run.

+ had this washing machine for just under a month, so as to give on honest review. we put it to the test with size ,cycle times ,spin efficiency,looks,drum size and ease of use. drum size is a lot bigger than we thought, 30 min cycle is fantastic,i would reccomend this product with ease.
