Beko WM5100 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

+ I purchased the machine for my Mother in Law. She is delighted with it found it very easy to use. She uses the short wash programmes mostly as she lives on her own.

+ Good value for money, easy to use.

- Cold fill only, but maybe not a major problem, but need to check the energy bills to see if it makes a difference.

+ Cheap and cheerful. Good quick 30 minute cycle which wiil clean normal soiled clothing with ease.

- The cycles take almost 2/12 hours, well the ones i've used so far do, i'm yet to try all of them.

+ Low noise, uses less water per litre

- It was damaged after inspection when the delivery men left. The lid was loose with a broken catch. Upon reporting the fault we were told by both Currys and Beko that it was the other agency responsibility. As it was functioning othewrwise I decided it was too much trouble to pursue it further

+ I wanted a good spin, a reasonable price and some options for different wash cycles

- I would have liked a half load option

+ Cheapest machine about. Does 1000 RPM which is more than enough to spin clothes. Very quiet, not too many buttons and the programs are just right.

- Guarentee for it can be a bit pricey compares to the value of the machine.

+ Simple to use, no noisier than any washing machine,stable and easy to level so no shaking when spinning. I Also have this washing machine in Bulgaria so I knew it was good and have recommended to several people who have bought it and have been very pleased with it

+ The machine works really well and seems very reliable the hand wash facility is reallly good as well as the short cycle they are really hand programs to have I have also used the 40 on long cycle which works great for whites as opposed to a 90 cycle

- so far I have no bad points but I am used to having a filter to empty so hopefully this will not become a problem in the future

- None really. The wash cycle takes a long time but one just gets used to it and plans ahead. Of course as I've only had it for a month I do not know about it's long term reliabilty.....my last washing machine lasted 10 years.

idiot proof choice of washes, only a few to select which is all you need basically.

- wash cycles are too long, with it being hte cheapest model it doesnt have a wash delay/timer which I didnt realise.

+ This is a good value washing machine, basically it does what it says on the tin. I have found it easy to use with simple easy to follow wash cycles.

- The wash cycles are a bit long, although there is a quick 30 min cycle. I unpacked the machine and installed it myself, so I found the bolts in the back a bit hard to undo (I'm only a feeble woman!) but other than that it's been a great purchase.

+ while price came into the equation, this machine is well worth its money. Its easy to use, fairly quiet and has a good efficiency rating.

+ I love this washer it doesnt make too much noise and i have had very clean washes from it so it definately works. I like the spin feature so i can give hand washed items a spin as well. The times for the programmes are not bad either.

- be careful when putting a cycle on as you have to press the button correctly to make the cycle start. Drum size is a bit too small for washing for a family.

+ I brought the machine for my Nan, she was looking for a cheap machine. This machine was cheap and had good energy raiting.

- Was Times a cotton was takes over 2 hours so be awaer of this before you buy the machine. It does have a quick wash for 30 minutes which is fine for my Nan. But the time of the cotton cycle was concerning for her.
