The control board on this machine is badly designed. The relay supplying the water heater is not man enough for the job and the contacts do one of two things: 1) they weld themselves closed and the water heater will not switch off. This is NOT GOOD! and can cause the machine to overheat OR (2) The contacts burn out and this causes the water heater to become intermittent. This fault can be difficult to locate.
Both faults are due to the same relay (Costs about £0.90) and your repair man will replace the control board if he finds the fault but he may also replace the heater (Not needed) and the temperature sensor (also not needed) and you will end up with a bill for £100-£150. Save lots of money by either replacing the relay yourself (needs soldering skills but costs £0.90) or buy a replacement control board (Part number 1899450650 about £25) Beware though; The replacement parts are no tougher than the originals so they are likely to fail again!

- Some might complain it doesnt fully dry everything, however it leaves no residue from over drying and is far more economical in the process.

Fixing screw snapped, nightmare! Had to file off screw in door and re-level the dishwasher slightly lower. Three hours of frustration over a 2p screw.
Drying performance not that good, if you can handle this then it is a reasonable purchase. Not as "solid" as the old dishwasher, but neither were any of the others in the store when I viewed them.
