Good points:: Child lock is essential for anyone with children, the energy rating is fantastic, we also took out the warrantee plan which gives us peace of mind it will keep working. The light in the drum is a nice touch.
This is the first tumble drier we've ever owned and with two small children it's been life changing. All of a sudden I can get 5 wash loads washed and dried in a weekend. E
Bad points:: It is noisy but we have a separate utility room so it doesn't bother us. My biggest bug bear is the cupboard dry sensor doesn't work reliably. Every time we've tried it the clothes come out still damp, so I feel we're not able to use it as energy efficiently as it promised.

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
