+ Used in conjunction with a map, and being sensible to what instructions are given, it is very useful. Strange city driving is made much easier. Option of Mp3 player when navigation aid not needed.

- If totally unfamiliar with the area, you can end up in some odd places, but then that's half the fun. Be adventurous!
