- only problem is no disc drive, but then ot would have to be bigger to accommodate, which defeats the object of getting a note book in the first place.

+ excellent memory capacity for such a small piece of kit and a nice clear screen aswell. i also have a notebook with 15.4 screen which only has 80 gig and only slightly better screen. sound is good but not amazing but for its size the speakers are adequate. value for money.

+ the netbook is a a useful size for on the go networking. The battery life is good. The hard drive at 80Gb is sufficient to instal Microsoft Office enabling the netbook to be then used at home and travelling to and from work.

+ Everything came up to expectations, it does everything for the purpose it was bought, no disappointments at all.

- Had to buy a seperate CD/DVD drive to load pogrammes onto it but I knew that beforehand, it's too small to incorporate one.

+ Excellent product. Performance and capacity limited by its size but far better than that of similarly sized notebooks. This computer can function perfectly well for normal applications, including playing music, and is ideal for internet access. Perfect as a portable laptop for travel. The lack of a CD drive as not a problem if you have access to another computer with a drive. You can then use a USB flash drive to load software or music onto the notebook.

+ Ideal size and weight ratio, makes it a very handy tool to work with and carry anywhere. Easy to work on as keyboard keys are just the right size too, memory is sufficient for most tasks and harddrive is plentifull for the average user. Ideal for students.

- Sluggish at times for video transfer and lack of optical drive, though this an be connected separately.

+ Small screen, but yet a full size keyboard, lightwieght enough to carry around, but powerful enough to be able to use for work and home.
Excellent value for money, and if you need a DVD/CD player then why not invest in a external one that can be plugged in when needed!

+ Size and portability are excellent also good usage time after charging. No problems getting it started up for a novice to laptops. I have made no score for capacity and security features as I have not used it long enough to judge these.

- I know the screen is small because the whole unit is small, but the smaller text is difficult for an older person/someone with non-perfect sight to see even at maximum text setting.

+ brilliant, perfect for internet, battery life great, comparatively large keyboard makes it very easy to use. comes with programs preinstalled - star office perfectly compatable with MS office, price represents excellent value for money too. cant rate it highly enough. am not computer expert so not a professional opinion but perfect for everyday people!

- the lack of a cd drive means you neeed to think creatively but could always buy an external drive....

+ perfect for 2nd computer where emails and internet are the main use - still enough memory to have a decent music selection downloaded.

+ lovely piece of kit, has fulfilled all we wanted it for, light, fast, and actually more use than our main pc. and much more use than a full size laptop due to its extremely small size. Battery life and life in use is very good indeed, getting over 5 hours per charge.

- Asus promote the PC as easy to learn and use. It certainly isn't. It's also slow, and the tracker pad is puzzling to use. At times the PC seems to have a life of its own.

+ Compact, Reasonable Battery Life, The 80Gb HD gives plenty of storage. SD Card slot gives versitility.

- No caps lock indicator, can be a little difficult to see the letters if you are working in an environment with dimmed lighting. No DVD/CD Drive, so all progs have to be downloaded over the internet/WiFi or via USB Memory stick/SD Card. However, Given the size of the machine, these are little niggles.

+ As it was bought for my teenage son I think that it has all he requires - msn, music download studying etc. The built in web cam is also a good feature

- The only problem I had (and its not really a bad point) is the small key board takes a bit of getting used to.

+ Small and convenient (eg fits very well on the table top of an airline!! and in a an average size handbag!!
fairly fast set up, can convert most programmes. Good for small jobs and a media centre. Battery life is okay not the 5 half hours more like a good four hours of variable use, can reduce power options (eg turn off camera and wirelses)

- Key pad too close to the edge . It works best with a wireless mouse. Small screen woudl drive you mad if on all day. ok for a few hours

+ Its brilliant I love it the keys are a good size and the screen is large ,some I looked at where too fiddly and you couldnt see the whole page without scrolling all over the place Windows PC is a bonus as I still love it.It connects to the internet really quickly and the set up is so easy.

+ This is a leading netbook in terms of battery life - I know many other people with various brands and none seem to last quite as long as the EEEPC 904 HD. The device itself comes with many integrated features and is available at a fantastic price for what it is.

- The screen is too small (annoying when surfing, needs to extra height) which is all the more obvious with the 10linch casing with a lot of bezel. Better off with a 10 inch screen. However, it is a lot cheaper second hand but a compromise hard to live with.

+ Nice small machine with a good build quality, decent battery life and some solid components.

- Screen resolution makes it incompatible with various games and applications, and the slow processor definitely makes itself felt at times ... a slower dual core would probably be preferable for smooth responsiveness.

+ nice size, works well with a mobile broadband dongle. if there was a a quicker charge up for the battery it would be good, but overall I am very pleased with this item
