Small, powerful (processor) but yet fairly frugal on battery power.

A little short of memory on the system drive. With just (mainly) windows on there it sometimes gets filled up; I think the obligatory virus scanner etc. takes part of the blame though. Keep the installations on C drive down to a minimum.

it's too small, i expected it to be bigger, it's hard to concentrate on anything you are doing on it because it is so small and the screen is so small, the battery life doesn't last, to get any kind of decent use out of it you need to leave it constantly plugged in, over all i wasn't very happy with this product, that unhappy in fact that i gave it to my sister and purchased a new laptop

I think you have to be a bit savvy about customizing settings to really be satisfied with the asus 901. It took me a minute to figure out how to solve the problem I was having when using the house wi-fi. I kept getting the built-in dial up popping up and causing real problems. Also, I don't like the sound quality from the built-in speakers. I also find this unit quite a bit heavier than my original asus 701 4G

Small, compact and yet still capable of everything I've thrown at it so fat (including a PowerPoint file with 800 scanned images). I'd recommend upgrading the RAM (from 1Gb to 2Gb) if you're looking to do anything more than emails and web surfing but, all in all, the battery life and built-in mobile broadband make this tiny little marvel ideal for anyone wanting a VERY portable PC.
-
