Score 10.0/10+ Precisely the size & weight that I required. For airline travel (cabin baggage) and for sorting, editing and backing up digital photos onto SD Cards.
- None really but have to put it to the test!! Ask me again in 3 months time!

Score 9.0/10+ extremely portable, excellent battery life, easy to use. It performs as I expected it to after reading reviews of all netbooks.
- Small keys, close together, that might be a problem for anyone with large fingers.

Score 9.0/10+ Small, powerful (processor) but yet fairly frugal on battery power.
- A little short of memory on the system drive. With just (mainly) windows on there it sometimes gets filled up; I think the obligatory virus scanner etc. takes part of the blame though. Keep the installations on C drive down to a minimum.

- WIFI occasionally struggles to find router but generally good.

Score 9.0/10+ Fast, compact, gorgeous shiny white design. Great for travelling.
- The keys are small and hard to get used to as some are in different places. The enter key looks like a shift key which is confusing.

- it's too small, i expected it to be bigger, it's hard to concentrate on anything you are doing on it because it is so small and the screen is so small, the battery life doesn't last, to get any kind of decent use out of it you need to leave it constantly plugged in, over all i wasn't very happy with this product, that unhappy in fact that i gave it to my sister and purchased a new laptop

Expert reviews for Asus Eee PC 901 12GB Windows XP Home
TechRadar expert review
As much as the 701 was a revelation, the Eee 900 was a bit of a letdown. The nine-inch screen was gorgeous, but the higher price and dodgy battery performance dragged it down. In steps the cleverly-titled Asus Eee 901, with a bigger battery and Intel's latest emaciated CPU, it's hoping to wrestle back our hearts from MSI's brilliant Wind.Sturdier and speedier laptopThe original Eee701 was very much the landmark product, a device that went against the prevalent computing trend of 'bigger, better, faster'. So much so, in fact, that every other laptop manufacturer went into overdrive tryi…

Pocket Lint expert review
When Asus launched its Eee PC 900 back in May it was seen as a logical upgrade to the original 701 as it offered more memory, a larger screen and better webcam. Little did we know it would be superseded so soon by the Eee PC 901. So what are the differences? The chassis has been given a slight overhaul, as the plastic is now glossy instead of matt and the design has a more rounded feel to it...

The Eee PC was the original netbook, and its sales figures meant Asus could have been forgiven for sitting on their laurels.
