+ The Asus EeePC is small in overall size, yet the Keyboard is 98% size of a typical desktop keyboard. Has an amazing 8/9 Hours battery life, good screen quality, nice keyboard layout, great connectivity via Wireless-N and Bluetooth. It's great for doing one or two everyday things at a time, such as email and writing a document, browsing the Web, Windows Live Messenger etc. It looks sexy and has caught the attention of most offices I used it in. VGA output is useful for connecting to a TV or monitor.

- Speaker audio quality is not too great. When running on battery certain programs such as High Definition video sometimes do not run smooth and BBC iPlayer does not run too well when on batteries - THOUGH you can adjust default performance settings to achieve better video performance but would sacrifice battery life.

+ Light weight, sleek design, compact, v. good battery life, decent perfomance for the size of the laptop. Excellent purchase, have already recommended to several friends and work colleagues.

- Non really, mouse pad is very precise but on occasion the scroll will not work proficiently enough.

+ Great battery life. Good design & features.

- With the netbook open it can easily tip back on your lap. Not a real issue but something to be aware of. Stick to only a few open screens as it's not the most pwerful processor as you would expect in a net book.

+ Bought this PC after reading positive reviews; so I was delighted to have it up and running within a very short time of unpacking. It feels, and is solid. Very simple to set up, and felt immediately at home with the keyboard - nice positive feel to it. I use quite a few different keyboards, from full size to standard laptop. Didn't take long to get the fingers tuned to this one. The touchpad isn't bad - but because I do a lot of photo and design work I much prefer a mouse. Peripherals such as external hard drive and DVD all functioned exactly as expected on installation. Nice bright display, even on battery power. Very impressed with the battery life - it's pretty close to the maker's claim, and I guess much will depend on the software you have running and what you're doing. The pre-installed Skype and webcam all fired up perfectly. I haven't installed any additional memory (yet) but I am impressed with the PC's ability to handle Photoshop Elements and InDesign even if you have to allow for the fact that it is a small screen, and the mouse does come in very handy to shuffle the image around in the available area. I used this PC for a week's photo tour travelling on French railways, and its small footprint came in very useful indeed. I might consider upgrading to Windows 7, but I'm a very happy bunny with this one!

- Nothing glaringly obvious to me at all.

+ The battery life is outstanding.
The keyboard is a good size; very easy to use but still compact.
The dimpled touchpad is very well designed and intuitive to use.
It's lightweight, super-portable and lovely to look at (check out the sparkles!)

- This is really just nitpicking but the screen doesn't work that well outdoors and the black edition picks up fingerprints very easily (so yes, these are very, very minor downsides)
