- Good points:
- Awesome little machine, had a windows PC for 10 years and needed a refreshing change. after 10 hours on this little baby will stick with apple for the next 5 years at least. Also bought magic trackpad and it is mint, took an hour to get used to it but now think it is bringing the mouse unto date, wish I could use it at work on my PC but unfortunately will not work with it.
- Bad points:
- None, love it.

- Good points:
- It's almost silent and very small.
- Bad points:
- Contrary to the website's claims, you can't necessarily use your existing keyboard and monitor. VGA connector is an extra £21 and it doesn't map ordinary keyboards correctly (@ maps to ", ~ maps to |, etc.).

- Good points:
- Quiet (almost no sound at all except when it's really working hard), takes up little space (though you will need an extra DVD drive), starts quickly, runs quickly (and I do programming and have had to compile big libraries which took hours on older Macs; it took a little over an hour on this one). Mac OS X.11 has proved reliable for me.
- Bad points:
-
Should have come with latest version of Mac OS X (10.7.2) which was released in October - the update was a multi-gigabyte affair and failed several times, probably due to heavy Christmas internet traffic.
Fonts didn't look good on my monitor. This computer is meant to be used with the user's own monitor and mine is a Dell monitor that's a few years old. The problem can be fixed in the Terminal after some Google work but Apple removed the easy way (through System Preferences) for some reason.

- GENUINE REVIEW!!! - An outstanding little computer delivered at an amazing price. Sooo chuffed! Better than a PC by miles, safe, simple and will last for ages (my last mac mini managed 9 years!)
- Bad points:
- Customer Care line was quite busy when I was trying to find out about delivery time. But it arrived one day after they said it would, so I cant complain too much for the price I paid!

Manufacturer's Description
The latest dual-core Intel Core i5 processors come as standard on Mac mini. Choose a 2.3GHz or 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, or configure Mac mini with an even faster 2.7GHz Intel Core i7. With up to 2x the performance of the previous generation, Mac mini keeps up with computers twice its size.1
When you’re using processor-intensive applications, Turbo Boost 2.0 increases the clock speed up to 3.4GHz. Hyper-Threading lets each core run two threads, so OS X multitasks even more efficiently. And an integrated memory controller connects fast 1333MHz memory directly to the processor, so it gets straight to work on your data. In short, Mac mini is a little box of vroom.
