+ With it's wireless connection It can be used around the home and garden for reading and sending e-mails, listening to music, watching podcasts etc, and with the many applications available from Itunes I find it absolutely invaluable. It's made all my other dedicated gadgets redundant.

- Not having had it for very long I'm unable to comment on battery life, but would find it difficult as yet to find any other short comings

- Do not buy the 8gb put a bit more money too and get the 32gb.

- No strap attatchment point , very shiney and polished so slips out of pocket easily. Battery life is quite short needs charging every day.

+ Everything is great about this product, features suit all age groups from 7+ years.

- Shouldn't sell charger adapter separately thats kind of a rip off when you see how much it retails at when not in a sale.

+ Range of applications, new features such as the volume button and "shake to shuffle feature". Very good wifi internet access and extremely easy to transfer files to and from itunes. Plus it looks amazing.

- A little big for an mp3 player. Battery life not great. Takes a little longer than other mp3 players to turn on. Also 8gb does not hold very much but the models with larger memory a little too expensive.

- Battery life is not too good if you use it quite a bit but it's good if you're just using it as an ipod for music. No memory exspansion.

+ Excellent piece of kit! Great for using on wi-fi internet, reading books, catching up on news, Facebook. Keeping photos, appointments, addresses. Not to mention music and films...

- Haven't really found any. Battery doesn't last very long if in constant ue but only takes about 30 mins to charge so not really a problem.

- on the pricey side as you can now buy phones which do the same for less then the ipod touch plus you have the use of a phone.

- bought this for my daughter as a christmas present last october. It lasted about 6 months then just died, nothing we did to reset it or restore it worked but tesco's were brilliant and gave us the option of either having it repaired or replacing the product with a brand new one which we opted for, and so far the new one is fine. Apart from that my daughter is more than happy with the Itouch.

+ The sound is good for it's size and I love the fact you can listen without speakers or earphones. It is very easy to access wifi and suprisingly text from e-mail etc is ledgeable even on the small screen. it is very is to carry around, even on crutches as I am at the mo. A great product that proved invaluable with other's snorring in hospital!

- Cost maybe but prices come down all the time as items/technology become more common place.

- The battery runs out so fast when you are using apps. It does not run out as fast while listening to music though.

+ large interactive screen, can import mp3 files as well as itunes. Full length films are watchable without discomfort

+ This is such a clever contraption... I can do anything on here that i can do on a computer and more-just a few things to let u know.. Surf the net..check emails..play games,free and buy if u wish..obviously its an ipod too,so listen to music..ive got apps on here to check my personal shares,lottery, oh there is jus too much to mention,the only downside is that the battery life is very short.ive had my ipod touch for 6months and i use it daily and would be lost without it.. So as long as u have wireless its a brilliant thing to have10/10 from me

+ Great piece of technology. It does so much more then all the other I pod's. The feel of the I pod touch is so smooth and it just fits perfect into your hand. I am very satisfied with it and I would like to recommend it.

- The sound without the earphones or docking station is not very good.

+ it is very good fun and the games are of high quailtiy and some of the apps are handy to have and the touch screen is very responsive.

- the battery life isnt brilliant and the shiny surface on the back gets smudged easily

+ Internet access, easy downloadable items, keeps my 12 yr old entertained for hours and all downloaded items are emailed to us so we can track what he downloads.

+ EXCELLENT PRODUCT, NO NEED FOR INCAR DVD PLAYER BECAUSE YOU CAN WATCH DVD'S ON IT, THEN WHEN YOUR BORED OF THAT YOU CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC OR PLAY GAMES ETC. EVEN MY 6 YEAR OLD WANTS ONE, SHE CAN USE IT EASILY AND LOVES THE GAMES.

+ The touch screen is easy to use and positive. Styling isn't gimmicky yet still looks goods.

- Battery life will always be a problem, no matter how good the battery is it always needs charging when you want to use it!!

+ Excellent gaming experience, good range of games available for free. Internet access especially googlearth, facebook etc great features. Easy to use even for Mums!

- Managed to forget passcode so get locked out for long periods unless you reset which is quite lengthy process,, (that said at least it is secure from a theft point of view. Screen gets dirty fairly quickly (a soft pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth might be a nice addition.

+ It is amazing. The features are good and the style is brilliant. The applications you can get are especially good and you can get loads of them free as well. When watching a film it is very clear!

- i find that there isnt really any bad points, but it can unlock itself in your pocket because the unlock button works off the touch screen.

Sounds great. Picture is great, i have the 8g and thats MORE Than Enough memory for several games a few videos and tonnes of albums.
Its a great product and i would definitely recommend it, however there are some nit-picks to be said:

- The back is silver/chrome and gets finger print splattered madly so - keep it covered!
The screen needs to be wiped Well, after every use.
It doesn't come with a case!
The internet works brilliantly -when connected. However you CANNOT connect when out and about ie: in the street, on a train etc etc Which Sucks!
Apart from those nit-picks its a rly good product and im happy with it =]
