+ The touch screen is a really good idea, its easy to use and much better than the circle thing on the other ipods.

- i find that there isnt really any bad points, but it can unlock itself in your pocket because the unlock button works off the touch screen.

+ Wi-Fi connectivity: Can surf the internet and read mail when in range of any free wireless hotspot. Fantastic user interface. iPod Dock adapter is included. I use it with a Sena slimline leather case, and recommend this accessory.

- Quickly gets covered in fingerprints (polishing cloth is provided). Smooth USB cable is difficult to remove from less accessible USB ports. Does not recharge when used with Cambridge Audio ID10 iPod Dock, although it plays with no problems through this accessory. On Facebook app, requests don't include associated text.

+ Sleek,highly polished super slim design. Beautiful bright colours on the screen. Great sound through the headphones. Ability to surf the net with the wifi connections. Overall a fabulous product.

- Applications are limited by design (Apple/i-tunes) and this design fails to realise the full potential of the ipod touch. A classic example of corporate greed.

- This was purchased to replace a broken gen 1 touch. Not impressed with the fact that charger will not work with gen 2, the in car kit will play the gen 2 but not charge it and docking station (Belkin) will not work at all. I feel totally ripped off - should have stuck to sony mp3 player.

- on the pricey side as you can now buy phones which do the same for less then the ipod touch plus you have the use of a phone.

+ Excellent piece of kit! Great for using on wi-fi internet, reading books, catching up on news, Facebook. Keeping photos, appointments, addresses. Not to mention music and films...

- Haven't really found any. Battery doesn't last very long if in constant ue but only takes about 30 mins to charge so not really a problem.

+ Great new Gadget for 12 year old birthday boy. Learn something new about it every day. Haven't even read the instructions. In fact, thinkingabout it I don't recall seeing any instructions

+ Excellent gaming experience, good range of games available for free. Internet access especially googlearth, facebook etc great features. Easy to use even for Mums!

- Managed to forget passcode so get locked out for long periods unless you reset which is quite lengthy process,, (that said at least it is secure from a theft point of view. Screen gets dirty fairly quickly (a soft pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth might be a nice addition.

+ Snazzy product as you would expect from Apple. This was bought for my son who thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread! It is very easy to use, the touch screen works very well and is a good size. Connectivitiy is also easy, especially in comparison to having used the Sony PSP.

- So nice, you will curse every time you drop it (which you will!). Only comes with USB charger and battery life not as good as we expected.

+ I am 40 plus and this is my fitrst portable music player-I LOVE IT, so easy to use and amazing sound, lots of great accessories too.

+ Really good product, the only thing that could be better is a longer battery life but you can't have eveything. Very easy to use but could have done with a hard-copy instruction manual. Great for music, photos, videos, games applications and internet use.

+ top class product you wonder how you coped without it. I barely use my lap top now. Its easier and quicker to fire up the pod!

+ The iPod Touch is a brilliant little device. I use mine for music, films, podcasts, e-books and have installed quite a few free applications from the iTunes store. With a wifi connection I can Surf the net, check emails and watch tv through BBC iPlayer.
