+ Great design easy to use

- Screen gets dirty very quickly

- Battery life is appalling when playing games. It certainly won't last a long flight, it barely seems to last a return train journey.

+ I purchased it specifically for use when travelling around the world. I have recorded more than 10 DVD's on it and at least 15 lengthy audio books and have used up only 25% of its 32 GB Capacity. It is exactly what I wanted after much research in to Archos and portable DVD players. I have already recommended it to my friends as I consider this to be an outstanding product.

- There is probably an external battery source which could be used to power it up after about 6 hours used showing videos. Nothing wrong with the product as far as I am concerned.

+ The capabilities and applications for the iTouch are fantastic. Having a 32G option is worthwhile as you can soon fill it with music, videos, photos and applications. Love the wi-fi and being able to Twitter and use Facebook on the go is a real bonus.

- The battery life is not so good when using video or wi-fi apps. It's not bad but I had hoped it would last longer. Also you need to make sure you have the correct kind of portable charger for when you are away from your computer as not all wall socket chargers work with the iTouch.

+ Easy to use out of the box. Good design quality. THe touch provides more than just a fancy MP3 player with its ability to play video, games, access to the net and photo storage.

I will now buy an i-phone when my current contract expires - but will keep my touch to play music from my music collection.

The wi-fi is pointless as I very rarely get anywhere that I can use it, therefore I'd have been better off with the i-phone. this makes most of my apps pointless!
I haven't managed to work out how to use my i-tunes voucher.
with head phones, its great, but with speakers I can barely hear it.
I'm dissapointed that I can't get all my albums on it. I wish I'd gone with a nano?

- It is a bit too slippery, easy to drop

- Limited range of functions on some of the apps, e.g. music, no option to rate tracks or edit details, email, no option to save attachments, most of the aplications could have a lot more added to them although I accept that this would make the apps larger, maybe their could be the existing "lite" versions and larger version to download for those who have the spare memory capacity

+ really is idiot proof, get some decent dvd converting software lke dvd fab andaway you go, is great to use for everything, applications are outstanding with som many to choose from , the free ones are plentiful! if you are thinking about getting one, just get it, but get the 32g,no point having the toybox if you cant ft all the gamesinside! ilove the fact i can use it for skyp too, just use earphones with a mike like ones you get for your mobile and youll be completely set up, sound quality of that is second to none! video quality is also amazing, look - bottom line, if youre reading reviews, you know you want one, jsut use some tesco clubcard vouchers to bring the price down a bit!

- sound quality stand alone is a bit poo, but through the car stereo - get the griifin i trip auto scan - or with any earphones is incredible!

+ The ipod touch is literally amazing. Anything you want to do it will facilitate it, if like me you don't fancy O2 pinning you down for 18months with their astronomical charges for an iphone this is the perfect sub. It can do and apply anything that an iphone can bar make a phone call. You will not be disappointed with this product! One thing though, buy a screen protector and skin for it as they are prone to wear and tear, shop around for these and you can find them dirt cheap.

+ the iPod Touch is quick, and easy to use. the apps are easy to get and don't take very long to load into the iPod. The sound quality is fantastic and I can't imagine having any other iPod now that I've got the iPod Touch 2G

- doesn't come with many apps. But there are a large range of free apps that you can get from the iTunes Store or from the App store on the iPod

+ I have a 32gb and always listen to music in the car, in the gym and it is quick and easy to download and transfer tracks. Due to the cost I wouldn't have this as an iphone in case I lost it but for music/games/email it's great.

- The instructions are only available to download and aren't very helpful with specific queries. Not all album downwork is available and I haven't been able to save an album into the artists name and it is often saved under 'various' when there are other artists collaborating on a track.It takes practice to learn to navigate around the menus and I haven't yet found a way of simply returning to the previous page when connected to the internet.
I have downloaded games on line but have been unable to transfer them to the Ipod and haven't yet figured out why

- The battery life is shocking bad! Its needs constantly recharging. There is no setting that allows you to let it play for a specific time and it then shuts down automatically after that period. Doesnt come with a charger that can plug into a wall socket.
