+ so simple to use, much better than a standard mp3 player. good sound qualtity, lots of memory and no need for batteries (cost effective).

+ I have found that the product is extremely easy to use, stores loads of music and also use it for saving pictures and think overall the ipod quality is excellent.

- the only bad point i found was that it did freeze a few times.

+ I've over 1000 songs on my ipod, I use it daily, when sitting on the train, waiting for bus etc, it's also taken the place of my stereo, I just connect it to a set of speakers and again, have all my music on one small gadget - probably the best buy I've made for my music! Also doesn't get mobile phone interference and is brilliant when I go jogging!

- Being 100% honest I really can't think of any!

- this item is extremely difficult to sync with me PC (my PC is less than a year old) no software came with this.
I wanted to purchase speakers but these were out of stock, sales assistant did try to source from another shop

For someone who although works on a computer I'm not the best with these kind of things I have no problems. I have had other makes and struggled but not with this

- Little advice on how to download music onto it - had to ask friends, after a few days of trying to do it myself. It needs better and fuller instructions for the 'ipod'' virgins.

- when the battery is charged for ages sometimes all day then i play the start of a song it says no battery is left and switches off.

+ The IPod mini is a lovely simple, modern design and is so easy to use.

- After about 3 months the battery life became very short. Also, after ahout 5 months the Ipod stopped up-dating when connected to the USB so I had to return it and change it for another one, which did exactly the same after just 2 months.

- infuriating habit of changing the order of tracks on an album, usually putting the first track down the running order. Can't change this on the iPOD, and tracks remain in the right order on iTunes.
