+ Looks absolutely fantastic!! Really pleased with this stand. Looks as if it was specifically made for my 46" Sony Bravia. It houses my blu-ray, amp, vcr and sky box and looks the business! Really glad I didn't go for another stand.

- Took me over 3 hours to put it together so would have preferred fully assembled but if you stick with it, the end result is stunning! The instructions could also have been better but thats flat pack furniture for you. Take care when using screw drivers as its easy to scratch it! I made a very small scratch, but luckily it's on the inside of the door and not noticeble. Also, there isn't much space for cables round the back, the holes could have been bigger, but all in all I still love it!

+ lovely looking stand, and center piece for the lounge!!! and it just so happens to perfectly suit my new samsung 8 series :-)

- Only real let down with this is that there is no hole in the middle section for wires (strangely). So had to make my own so the Wii could be plugged in.

+ Excellent build quality. Easy to assembly - though I put it together myself I would recommend a two-person assembly to make things easier and faster. Overall the stand is what I expected and looks great.

- I purchased the black, which does show up dust so it will require dusting regularly. Also I might argue the rear cable access apertures may be a little bit too big; depending on size of the equipment placed on the shelves you might be able to see through to the back. Though is to personal distaste.

+ This arrived flat packed, but is the most high qualitiy flat packed cabinet I have ever put together. The weight and finish of the product ouzes quality. Another good feature are the 'roller' castors it is fitted with, that allow the unit to move easily in and out from the wall. The access holes at the rear of the cabinet allow for all the cables etc to be fed unseen to the numerous electonic appliances it stores, in side mine I have an applifier, cable TV decoder box, X box and video player. All these units being enclosed, keeps them dust free as well!

- The only thing I would prefer is for the glass to be tinted, but that may already be available, I didn't think about it until after it arrived.

+ Elegant and high quality. A substantial unit yet not obtrusive and with lots of storage space. The fact that it is not an open design means that the DVD Recorder, Satellite box etc do not get dusty! Not too heavy to move for cleaning etc. Everybody who sees it likes it!

- Attracts dust, easily scatched (make sure it's completely clean before polishing!!!!!), shows up finger prints. Cannot keep PS3 (so I'm guessing a 360 wouldn't work in it either) as it overheats.

- I built it all myself but getting the top to connect with the lock bolts by myself was too hard [I am 60 years old]. A friend came round and helped and it was still a little difficult. One of screw threads on the bolts shreded, shame there was no spare.

+ Really stylish product that I would recommend to anyone. It looks great with all the current AV equipment.

- I had to cut away a larger hole in the rear for the cables to my receiver but it was easily done.

+ Because of its size shape and style it was the only unit suitable for the needs I have because of being disabled and I required a unit to lay on other furniture adjacent to the TV and not the TV on the top! In simple terms it is for the bedroom. Regarding shelf space: I found that just one shelf per section was not sufficient for the number of hi fi units I have, Sky box , freesat, 2 x dvd hd recorders, dvd player and an amplifier. I used the centre level point for the glass shelf and was able to devise which unit could go where and used seperaters to allow sufficient air between all units. Obviously the wheels were not assembled but they were used as seperaters below the dvd player! I am currently considering a second for the lounge but that would be at floor level! Being Black enabled it to blend in with all other furniture. Easy to assemble, is good, looks good and by golly its done me some good. It is a pleasure just to look at the abr1100b with the other equipment lit up at night.
