Score 8.0/10+ Good looking and solid stand. Good cable management below the top shelf.

Feet are "hollow", making them ok for solid floors, but moving the stand is very difficult on carpet.
Screen rotation is limited to 20 degrees either side of the pivot.
Despite the appearance, the cable management provision in the hollow rear middle leg does not extend above the top shelf.
The holes in the "universal" screen fixing brackets do not fit the standard VESA vertical hole pitch of 10cm.

Score 9.0/10+ Very sturdy and well made. Rock solid. Piano black shelves look great with my 40" Sony LCD.
- Had a few troubles putting it together - got a few critical bits upside down towards the end. Managed to do it single handed although it says it requires 2. Cable management is OK but doesn't continue up to the TV.

- Took 2 people 2 hours to assemble. Instructions could be clearer. Have seen some other makes that looked more elegant, but with insufficient shelf space.

Score 9.0/10+ It's solid! Weighs more than the TV, feels very sturdy. Secure, too - nobody's pinching the TV without an allen key!
- Cables are nicely managed up the back, but there's no management between the top shelf and the TV. Okay if you've got something to hide them (I've got a speaker sitting on the top shelf) but otherwise you'll need velcro straps or similar to tidy things up.

- Could do with better cable management from the TV screen swivel mount. But certainly not enough of an issue to regret the purchase.

Score 9.0/10+ Apart from the trusted good design and quality being an Alphason product, the best aspect by far is the excellent swivel mechanism. Not only does it easily hold my 42" plasma, but the range of movement is perfect to suit the different seating positions in a living room that forces the need for the TV to be in a corner.
- There are a lot of components that needs some close attention before starting to put the stand together. It is also heavy and is best put together by 2 people.

Score 9.0/10+ Excellent product. I was a bit aprehensive about putting this together after reading other reviews who suggested it was too complicated. However, I found the instructions clear and easy to follow (albeit there are lots of parts). Does need two people for parts of the assembly as it is heavy. Looks fantastic
- I was disapointed with the limited 'swivel' - which is only about 20 degrees from centre. Attacking the offending piece of metal with a Dremel soon sorted this out !!
