AEG-Electrolux Santo 75408 Reviews: Frost Free, Energy Efficient, Silver fridge freezer

+ Great size, function and good looking bit of equipment. Very easy to set up (had to change the door orientation), and quiet running. Cool LED lighting inside the fridge unit at drawer level, and draw is on a smooth glide runner so opens very easily.

+ Solid. Well laid out. sleek finish. Easy to clean

- Shows finger prints around door handles - constantly having to wipe front. Salad drawer difficult to pull out.
Tray in second drawer of freezer compartment is a nuisance although good for freezing ice cubes.

+ Long bar handle on both fridge and freezer door allows for ease of opening. Good sized salad and veg drawer in Fridge. A good number of shelves in the fridge. Lots of storage in the in the fridge door. didn't think that we would use the bottle rack but we do.
Brushed steel exterior is easy to keep clean.

- Top drawer in freezer is odd shaped and therefore not too much can be stored in it.

+ It is an excelent fridge for it's class. We are absolutely delighted.

- One of the vegetable doors sticks, can be a bit noisy at times.

+ Huge amount of space! Although my previous fridge-freezer had a similar capacity on paper, this one seems much bigger - I guess it's just a better use of space. The fridge veg drawers are really big - plenty of room for a bag of potatoes and much more. The freezer drawers and nice and deep too so you can stack plenty of stuff in them.

- There's less storage space in the fridge door so it's harder to keep an open bottle of wine chilled. The dairy/meat drawer is fiddly (doesn't slide open very easily).

+ Fits well into a thin space. Nice and tall. The door handles are exceptional. The freezer space is very generous and the fast freeze utility works exceptionally well. The fridge always keeps cool/cold. There is enough room for quite a few items. The fast cool feature works very well and is very useful. The light inside is very bright. The shelf units are easy to clean and maintain. The frost free works well. The fact that it is very tall, means I don't have to bend over too much. For the most part it is very quiet (with only a small noise at times). The freezer drawers are deep! No fingerprint marks at all!

- Drawer in the fridge could provide a smoother motion when opening and closing; same goes for the freezer drawers (but they are better than the drawer in the fridge).

- big handles maybe that what makes it look so great, ( or maybe internal ones would look great also)

+ This fridge/freezer is attractive, well built, practically designed and meets all my storage requirments. A bit pricey but after a month of searching for a product that had everthing I wanted it was obvious I would have to spend more to get a quality product.

- The instructions for reversing the door were not clear and has caused me some problems.

+ Very Large the fridge is tall which could be a problem in a fittied kitchen (ie alcove for fridge to sit in) but our is free standing in a utility room and the freezer and fridge cabinets are very substantial.

+ It's big and looks wonderful. I love the crisper drawer its so smooth to pull in and out.

- We had to change the way the door opened when we bought it. What a palaveer. The drawer for the meat is a bit stiff but hopefully this will improve.

+ Ideal for a small kitchen as the extra capacity is built on top. It runs quietly and is good value for money. The temperature of both fridge and freezer is displayed on the outside of the appliance. I am pleased with my purchase.

- The fridge door swings open too easily and has to be held to stop it from banging the appliance next to it.
