- battery life is shoddy

+ Easy to operate. Good design.

- Lack of user manual would cause problems for people not used to working with laptops e.g. meaning of and how to operate function keys and how to operate keys with three symbols.

- the touch pad take a lil while to get use to as its level with the rest of the wrist rest.

+ Outstanding value for the performance gives future protection. Large memory capacity, sd card facility, loaded with vista premium, stylish design, mouse touch platform is partof surface board (up-to date). Plug n play for easy set up. Light weight for size. Great for regular users for documents/pics/info storage when convenience needed

- Could feature an integrated webcam. Some dificulties loading ISP for wireless still.

- it does warm up quite quickly without any particular reasons. Its battery life is not acceptable at all (around a hour). Scroll bar on the touchpad is quite difficult to use.

+ Great performance. This computer is recommendable for intermediate to advance users that can get on with a new computer easily without relying on instructions of any kind.

- Using Fn+F1 to hybernate the laptop is a problem for me as that is very similar to the Ctrl+F1 ahortcut that I use a lot. The real problem is not being able to turn the FN shortcuts off as they are hardwired to the keyboard.
Also it is not obvious that tu turn on the wireless card on must press Fn+F10 every time the computer is restarted.

+ As a part time student, the PC was bought to support my studies and undertake assignments. Microsoft office is an additional extra, however I have been using microsoft works( software comes with PC) without problems. PC is light and compact. Satisfied with my purchase and would buy again

- Battery states two hours, however I have not found this to be the case. Hour and half at maximum.

- As its Vista, most download cd for mobile phones to connect is windows xp. I cannot connect my phone to this computer

- Only real bad point is that the mouse touch pad is quite hard to use - but does work and is probably just me! Battery life isnt great - but thats also laptops for you.

Touchpad was not installed correctly. Had to download Synaptics first - having spent much time finding the information!!

+ It has a sleek design, it can produce quite high quality images, it has a good sound system with a good microphone and it lets me use speech recognition. The Wi-Fi reception's good and it can be very portable.

- It's very slow sometimes and crashes occasionally.

+ Good looking machine with bright display and nice size keys. There is ample disk space and plenty of memory for everything I do. Start-up and shutdown nice and quick.

- Ctrl key to right of Fn key - I'm forever Ctrl-V/C with the Fn key - very annoying! Touchpad has no 'relief' and therefore one cannot detect it beneath one's fingers without looking for it! Its easy to drift off the pad and wonder why it its no longer responding! When typing a document (e.g. notepad/Word) the text input cursor seems to jump up into previously typed text. This may be something to do with the touchpad being far too sensitive and responding to the slightest drag of my hands over the pad while typing.

+ Nice colours and design, good sound for playing music or films, quick to work between different windows and a lot of space for storage

- Quite low battery life, the track ball is bit slow/ difficult to focus on what you want
