- Good points:
- Lightweight, small, compact size (so very portable) Starts quickly, shuts down quickly. Clear screen. Touchpad can be turned off. Handles multiple tasks well. Battery does last a long time (I got around seven hours)
- Bad points:
- No light to indicate Caps on (CAPS ON message does not display when viewing web pages, making it impossible to know if Caps are on when typing in passwords which are case-sensitive) Screen size (widescreen format excacerbates the problem) a bit too small (I should have gone for the 15 inch model, if its weight was still around 2kgs...) Fan is a bit noisy

- Good points:
- Great battery life. Good keyboard. Size and weight make it "usable" on your lap sitting on a crowded commuter train to London. I like the cd/dvd eject button being on the top. Too many of my other laptops have had an annoying habit of ejecting the drive case when I am pulling it out of my bag.
- Bad points:
-
Slightly cheap and flimsy feeling in build quality (however saying that I've had my Acer for over a year and touch wood everything is functioning well with nearly daily use on my commute)

- Good points:
- Excellent battery life. Decent spec Core 2 Duo processor as good as any I've seen. The lower power consumption really helps extend the battery life. Great screen and with it being slightly smaller than the 15", the weight of around a kilo is great when it comes to carrying the laptop around. Nice and light but it does have a rather solid feel to it with the metal faced lid and trim. Whilst it's a bit bigger than your average sub-notebook or netbook it is way more practical. All in it's a great bit of kit.
- Bad points:
- None

- Good points:
- Light, excellent battery life, so far reliable. Exactly what I thought it would be and great value.
- Bad points:
- None so far. Sometimes the pop out disc drive fir CDs jams. But seems to be a random problem that self fixes next time you boot up.

- The battery life is great, it performs everyday tasks at reasonable speed, the display is nice, the multi gesture touch pad with the latest drivers is a nice toy.
- Bad points:
- The HDMI port does not carry audio, visuals only.

Keyboard will be hard to keep clean.
Upgarde of Ram won't be easy.
