Score 8.0/10+ After upgrading to Windows 7, the laptop works a dream and is extremely quick. No problems with hardware or software and is 10 times better than my old Dell.
- A bit heavy but ok if you don't intend lugging it about. Acer have a tendancy to bulk up the system with useless software, which slows down your operating system, but this is easily removed. This system was really difficult to upgrade to Windows 7. I performed a fresh install and had major problems getting the media controls to work and finger print reader and other hardware. Would have been nice if Acer took this into consideration before Windows 7 Launch. But Windows 7 defo worth installing on this laptop as it does improve the overall performance.

Score 10.0/10+ Maybe it's a little unfashionable to be buying a large-ish laptop running Vista, but for me a cracking, large screen, great graphics and good build quality are what I want out of a machine I use a great deal of the time. So this product I great, I love it.
- Of course it is a compromise. Its heavyish and the battery doesn't last forever.
