Bought as a desktop replacement, and has not dissapointed on any level. Fairly powerful, even for a bit of light gaming, though only tested as far as COD 2 so far. Arrived in perfect condition, as new (it is a recon).
Would be well worth full retail price.
- battery life does not seem great, but i don't use it much except to play music in the garden. i did not buy it for the battery life, so can't complain.

Score 9.0/10+ The Aspire 6920G is really easy to use, once you've got everything loaded, which took a while first time. Performance is A grade, handles complex games such as Sims 3 easily, multi window tasking is also easily swallowed. Great multimedia laptop, media touchpad is a very nice addition. HDMI output means you can browse HD trailers and enjoy gaming in large format on your HD TV screen. Easy to use keyboard.
- It's a big laptop, but then its' primary function is home entertainment. Haven't fully tested the battery life yet, but it does run down fairly quick if web-browsing away from a power source. The media touchpad has completely locked, which seems to be a common problem to the whole Aspire range, but is easily fixed by unplugging the power source and taking out the battery. Ours was bought as a refurbished laptop. First one had a problem with the speaker, but the replacement is working fine.

Score 10.0/10+ Very nicely designed - I am finding the Cinedash media console especially useful. Fantastic sound quality. A great laptop and well worth the money....the webcam quality is proving to be excellent even in low light...so far I am delighted with this machine....
- Still early days ... nothing bad to comment on so far. (Although I would have liked some sort of instruction manual included - but that is only a minor gripe).
