HI, I like to play games like player manager, the sims etc - Would this laptop be able to support the disk run games without any problems? Thanks
Sorry but I have wiped windows off the hard drive and installed Linux instead, so I don't run any windows based games. But the only problem you would run into would be the graphics card inside it, as it is of the Intel variety not ATI/AMD or Nvidia which would be ideal. So I would check the games box/website 'cos any major 3D game is not going to run at the resolution you would find useful. Don't get me wrong the video is fine but it just hasn't got the grunt of a games card and I don't think you will find any 'games' laptop at this price bracket. Hope this helps h More
Have looked at the PC World web site for this product, it does just say it has a DVD player. Does it write/rewrite CD & DVD or do you have to go up a model for this facility. Does it play all manner of copied CD,s and DVD,s made on other laptops and computers.
It plays DVDs but I have not tried to write/rewrite as I have only had the laptop a few days. More
