Score 8.0/10+ Very powerful laptop for the price. Excellent CPU, Decent amount of RAM, Acers crystalbrite display is really nice. Good quality screen. Even 4 months on you can't beat this laptop for the price.
- Build quality isn't great. It's a bit on the large side. Battery life is average at best.

Score 10.0/10+ Fantastic value for money laptop with clean lines, an excellent processor and adequate HDD space. Keyboard feel is pleasantly firm and touchpad responsive, good connectivity that includes firewire and the inbuilt speakers produce surprisingly good sound.
-
It comes preloaded with Windows Vista which is not one of Microsoft's better efforts; I use this laptop as a tool for working so when settings are altered to make it run more like XP, Vista is far better and less annoying to use, and more importantly, uses significantly less system resources.
The only bad point about the laptop is the very glossy screen; although this gives good contrast, a matt screen is more pleasing to use particularly in awkward daylight.

Score 9.0/10+ it has worked brilliantly for me in all areas
- my only gripe is that the unit tends to overheat easily / quickly and it can then perform a little more unpredictably. I solved this by getting a laptop cooling stand with usb powered fan. never overheated since.

Score 8.0/10+ It is very quick to load up and the runs internet runs very smoothly. Easy to operate and comes with good software for watching films, burning cds etc. I was a little wary buying a refurbished laptop but haven't had a single problem since I bought it 5 months ago. Delivery was prompt too. I would definitely recommend it.
- It isn't the smallest or lightest of models but if you're not going to carting it around much it doesn't really matter. Battery life isn't great but you can chose battery saving modes that extend it.

Score 9.0/10+ This is a neat little laptop that does everything I need it to do, and does so quickly and without fuss.
- The power adaptor seems slightly too prone to overheating if left plugged in for more than an hour or so.
