100L Space Saving Waterbutt with Stand

+ easy to instal

- misleading about the size not knowing how much 100l is would have preferred to purchase a larger one with more capicity.also when full lid lifts and floods. so needs an overflow.

+ everything needed to fit this product to a downpipe is in the box and the instructions are simple and easy to follow

+ Financially a very good price. Has not really been used yet, but hopefully it will be o.k.

- Very lightweight, concerned it remains in place, as there is not such a good fit with the stand

+ Very streamline so perfect for our small garden. Very good value for money!

- Cutting a hole in the top of the waterbutt was difficult without the right tools.

+ because its slimline, it fits into small gardens, and spaces.

- trying to fit coil plastic pipe. we ended up cutting both ends off, then using pretrolium jelly around the end coming out of the butt and a jug of boiling water to warm the pipe so it would go on. To coin a phrase " a pain in the butt!" i think that the pipe had to narrow opening so they should check it before it leaves the factory. But it filled very quickly and is efficiant, so i suppose we should'nt complain

+ reasonably easy , compact and not noticeable. When it rains you realise just how much water you can save by the speed in which it fills

- You need a larger than normal drill bit, something you only find out once you've opened it and try to install it, I had to call on a neighbour late in the evening.

- Could do with easy method of fixing base down as it is prone to blowing over when empty

- The hole for the tap required filing down a bit to get the tap in but apart form that, no problems.

+ cheaper than any competitor pratically a free stand

- you need to use PTFE tape to gain a water tight connection on the tap

+ Comes with everything needed - downpipe connector, tap, stand. Fills up very quickly.

- Need to drill the hole for the downpipe connector tube which can be tricky.

+ Perfect for a medium sized garden-compact, ideal

- instructions with regard to connecting pipe were useless-own common sense prevails

- Mine dripped. Be careful screwing tap into threads - mine was installed by a friend who didn't align the threads properly, had to buy a different tap in the end. Use vaseline and take care.
