Like the range of cycle options plus half load facility.

The things that i think that are good on this washing machine is the child lock button very handy has my 19 month old likes to push the buttons while in the middle of a cycle now she can't interrupt the cycle. Also it is fairly quiet machine too. And as it is a 1600 spin the clothes seem to come out drier so it takes less time in the tumble dryer to dry. Also i like the fact that you can see how much time is left on the washing machine on the digital displayer which is cool. it also looks nice too. i'd highly recommend this washing machine.

Long cycles, cannot do spin only (as far as I can tell) Musical tones on power up and end of cycle may annoy some but I like them. They can be switched off. Default temperature on a cotton wash is 60* and you have to change every time for the more energy saving 40*

some wash cycles are very long, a lot longer than my old washer. Also I do not understand why the new washers are cold fill only. This meens that the washer has to heat its own water, as I have a combi boiler the hot water conection would likely have been cheaper to run.

Extremely simple controls, great spin, plenty of combinations and buttons which I have still yet to investigate! My old washing machine had a hot and cold pipe at the back - this just has one, and there is no stinky filter to clean as it's done automatically. I really like it!

A bit deeper than normal machines means it sticks out an extra inch or so from under the worktop, lots of gimmicky lights and twee "I've finished now" music makes it like a scene from ET

Very quiet in operation, means it can be left on overnight, or put on early morning, low power consumption should help with the electric bills, direct drive drum should be more reliable, certainly doesn't jump about the floor like an off-centre belt driven unit.

easy to use and very quiet. i like the fact that it can assign a time to the washing by assessing the load - heavier the load longer the washing time and vice versa. contrary to the other comments, i quiet like the tune it plays on end - which is better than most machines which just have a pathetic beep!

as it is a cold water supply only, you have to get your hot water pipe capped off if you have not got on/off switch like i have.

great machine, loads of options and a time delay from 3hrs to 9hrs, great for ec7 users like me. and a half load option. nice big drum to cope with a family of 5.

The washing machine looks very smart. l was very impressed by the hand book that came with it. About 5 minutes of reading and l was able to use the machine with confidence.The machine is very quite. It cleans very well, and comes out of the machine tangle free. l like the time delay. It means l can go out for the day set the timer and come back and put straight into the tumble dryer.

This washing machine is so quiet you hardly even know that it's on! (mind you, may old one did sound like a thunder storm!). It is really easy to use, loading is simple and the programmes really easy to understand. Other people have said that the spin efficiency isn't so good, but I find it absolutely fine. I would definately recommend this machine.

like the larger drum, programme dial dosen't move so you don't have to keep turning the programme dial everytime you use the machine unless you want a different program. Easy to operate

Quite noisy on the wash cycle and during spinning. Would like to see a 30 degree cycle for cottons, the only 30 is a delicates wash and a mini wash.

Steam cleaning and refresh is excellent and main reason for buying; it is incredibly quite compared to my last machine, so far its been an excellent investment. The steam refresh left the delicate wool top looking virtually crumple free and fresh. Just waiting for the weather to impriove to wash the big items like duvets!

The soap powder draw is annoying. It is too easy to get soap powder into the softener resevoir. I would have liked the prewash feature to be available on all wash types.

Very good basic machine. I like the quick wash for lightly soiled items 37 mins. 1400 spin speed is also good. Handwash is a good feature. Like the choice of extra rinse feature.

Nothing yet. The one thing I noticed is that you can't do a spin-only like you can with old machines with a mechanical dial - but I probably won't meed that anyway.

like most modern machines the wash cycles seem to take a day and half to complete, hand book could be better. bank balance took another nose dive

easy to use, lots of useful features like the time delay and short wash cycle programs. nice big opening to load the washing and it feels solid compared to our old hotpoint (a good firm clunk when you shut the door, think mercedes versus Daewoo!)

Love the efficiency...clothes are clean, well rinsed and spun really well. There are a lot of features I probably won't use except the extra rinse cycle which is a great extra. Cycle 8 or 9 are really fast (1 hour) and it cleans even my son's overalls...and he's a very mucky farm boy! However, if you have several pairs of mucky overalls the long cycles will sort them out. I also like the bleach cycle which is good for a large white wash.

The price (still think its worth it) but we all would like something cheaper!!

Spin cycles most effective, and like the short daily cycles - these are the only ones which state the time of the cycle. Love being able to do larger washloads = very important to me as a busy working parent.

Great spin speed, the machine is very quiet when it spins, variety of programmes - i especially like the sports shoe cycle!

I found the drum size good and we found it very stable on a solid floor, our previous LG machine was good and very reliable but did not like out of balance loads

ITs clean. I like putting the soap in the door. Its very simple to use with its push button system.

Looks great. Really cleans my clothes - used to an old washing machine that I don't think has worked properly for years! It is really quiet as well which is fab - we couldn't hear ourselves think with the old one. Like the fact it turns itself off when finished as I often put it on when out at work. And of course it plays a lovely little tune when it has finished its cycle!

I LOVE THIS MACHINE. The big drum, the quiet operation, the 'A' rated wash that really is 'A' rated, the Bed and Bath wash that fits a single duvet in/ all your bedding in one wash, the 1600 spin that means less time in the tumble dryer, easy to use, you can vary the temperature/spin, it looks good.........i could keep going on! My kids like the fact that it says Hello when you switch it on, and this means they want to load it! Fine by me. As I said I LOVE this washing machine.

This is a relatively unsophisticated machine by modern standards, but that doesn't stop it doing an exceeelnt job. It is quiet, efficient and good value for money. There is no doubt it is a quality product and we would be extremely surprised if it didn't give us long and relaibale service. We like this machine a lot.

The large drum is a great feature and it is exceptionally quiet, especially on spin. Looks very stylish and fits in well with the kitchen. Quite like the idea of the light within the door area when the door is open which allows you to see into the drum better.

Would like to have had timer to advise how long the cycle had left

Everything about this washing machine is brilliant! It's as eligant as a washing machine can be, there's no worries about it going wrong for Five Years "what other machine can you say that about?" It's very sturdy and quiet and doesn't move around the kitchen like my last one did. I'm more than pleased with spending that little extra!

I can throw everything in, including my dirty riding gear, light weight stable rugs and my teenage son's filthy rugby kit and it all comes out clean and fresh after just one wash. it's very straight forward to operate, even my husband can choose the right wash, and it's lovely and quiet. i hope it goes on for years like the last one did.

I like that I can select the programme and alter to my specific needs. A 40 wash doesn't take two hours!!

The machine is really easy to unpack & connect and looks like a quality product. For washing performance there are just the right amount of programmes to fulfill my needs without being confusing & it has cleaned mud-stained items without needing a pre-wash. The machine is really quiet when in operation, the LCD display shows the time remaining and the delay timer works by when the programme will finish rather than start, which is thoughtful.

The display time showing remaining time for the wash to complete is inaccurate with the time always taking 20 -30 minutes longer. The machine notifies you of the end of wash with a noise (we a call it a 'knock') which sounds like the machine is either broken or someone's at the front door! Fortunately. its neither.

The spin speed (1600) is excellent and really suits my needs. I can iron sheets straight from the washer and air them on the radiator which takes no time at all. I also like the fast wash and intensive wash features.

Spin cycle does not dry as much as I would like.I sometimes do two spins. In the summer I would not have to spin twice as I would be hanging clothes ouside.

The good thing for me was that my wife lovers her new machine. She likes the ease of use, cycle times and the low noise.

Very easy to, use quick cycle times and quiet. Washes clothes well. Anti crease at end of cycle reduces ironing. Door feels as though its part of the machine and wont fall off All buttons have solid feel when pushed Feels like a machine built to last. Measurements exactly as stated unlike other machines we looked at which didnt incluce allowances for dials and any curves to front.

Would have liked a normal wash cycle which was a little shorter than an hour in time.

Its a good looking machine, eassy to use, I like the fact you can change the spin speed, and you can have a extra long wash for dirtier clothes.

When using the quick wash it selects a shorter spin for you so the clothes don't come out as dry as I wouls like , I always need to spun again ( maybe that's just my preference)

I am surprised at how noisy this machine is when spinning. Like my previous Zanussi machine, water remains within the seal at the front of the drum at the end of cycles. I have found from experience that, if not wiped up, this eventually turns black and, over the years, leaves these black deposits on the washing. I had hoped this would have been eliminated in a newer model. It is a disadvantage not knowing how much time is left on a particular wash.

I like the facility to be able to choose shorter cycles.

i dont like the way the door closes. it has a harsh click noise as if something could break. it seems to take a bit longer than usual for the door to become unlocked.

I like the spin speed, the ability to change the temperature and the quick wash option, which were the specific things I was looking for. This was the cheapest machine I could find at the time and I am happy with it at this time.

Very easy to use, even my husband can use it! I like the child lock so avoids having everything boil washed when you only wanted a quick rinse. Very quiet, nice big drum, nice display and plays a little tune when it's done. I hate washing every day so the big drum means it's on less and therefore saving me money.

Plenty of choice for wash temperatures and spin cycles, plus great extra features such as enhanced wash. I especially like the 30 minute quick wash at 30degree on regularly for the kids cloths and my husbands shirts.

Not easy to move around when first installing as it has no wheels like my old machine.

I like the design, look and outlay of functions

I like the fact that i can get large loads in to each wash (7.5) but if you dont fill the machine you can use the mini load function for smaller loads. The fast wash on 30 degrees is a brilliant wash and only takes a short time. There are other various functions on this machine which suit me. I like the fact it is Eco friendly. I also like the fact that this machine is really quiet. And it looks nice too!

Spin efficiency excellent. Easy to use. I like the 'delay' facility.

This machine is so quiet! So quiet in fact I forget that I've put the thing on! With the drum being situated higher than on other machines it's also nice to load, helped by the fact that almost the entire front swings open rather than just a tiny porthole like on other machines. Another great factor is the detergent tray being located behind the door, when the machine spins, there's no way for this open with the vibrations as some other cheaper machines do.

The only thing I don't like about it is the location of the on/off button. It's very sensitive and easy to nudge against, turning the machine off mid-cycle. I now use the child lock on every wash after being caught out a couple of times.

Very quite machine, even when spinning, low vibration. Good washing times. I like the fact that it detects the size of the load and adjust the program accordingly. This is my second LG, hopefully it will live a long fault free life like my last one.

It might look like something from another planet, but once you've used it a couple of times it's so easy to understand. The 9 kg drum is amazing, it's taken a superking size duvet and thoroughly cleaned it (even though the operating instructions advise kingsize maximum).

Love the fact that it's so quiet, that it tells you how long it is o the end of the programme, and that there is s much room in the big drum for the wash to get really well wash and rinsed.It's really easy to use and I like the way you can vary the temperature and spin speed. I love the look of the machine, and the charcoal-grey colour.

It is very easy to use, very quiet and what I like most is that you can choose what spin cycle and temperature you want. I really like the 14 minute and 44 minute programmes.

Can be a little noisy when it is doing it's full spin, but not so noisy that it is in any way a problem. The pull-out soap drawer feels a little flimsy, and like you might pull it right off (but i'm being picky here!). Not all of the features of some of the latest machines on the market (like steam clean for example), but not the price tag either!!

The product so far has been very good, cycle time are long but that appears to be the norm with new washing machines. The delayed start and the time remaining is handy and helps to plan ahead if you don't want too many appliances on at once like the dishwasher and tumble dryer. The child lock feature is very good and the overall feeling of the machine at this stage is good.

Lights / LCD stays on when washing. There is a thing called being too efficient....you loose a small amount in washing quality. Just add more detergent. Washing times not super fast like some makes but very good still.

drum size is far to small do not buy this washer if you have a family it would be ok if you lived on your own, plus the door only has one hinge and is very flimsy it feels like it would come off very easily.do not be taken in by the cheap price tag you get what you pay for this is a cheap washing machine.

Like the noise the washer makes! Lets you know when a cycle has finished. The dial is easy to use and when in use the washer is very quiet.

Excellent spin speed as this means that clothes do not take long to dry and I hardly need to use the dryer. I also liked the fact that it had a sports cycle, as I have a mini football team.

I like how you can see the cycle times and how you can adjust them to your wash. I am really impressed with the timer delay feature, I can set it on a night and the wash is done when I get up in the morning, giving me more time to do other things.

If you are have teenage kids in the house that leaves your washing basket full of lightly soiled clothes then this machine is perfect!! The 29 min wash is great!! The efficiency of this machine is brilliant (A*/AA) and is pretty quiet through the whole wash (a must if your phone is in the kitchen). The extra features like half load etc is very handy and for duvets etc the drum is nice and big. Recommend this without hesitation!!!

I like the way you can stop the cycle and reset the programme if needed. The 30 min fast wash is ideal to throw in my childs clothes after getting muddy outside. It's so easy just turn the dial to the setting you want and press go!!! easy!!

You can just select spin you can only rinse and spin.. i often hand wash then just spin in the machine cant do that. Also fine things like bath rugs or pillows that hold a lot of water halt the machine. So I have to take them out without a spin n they are hard to dry.

Excellent washing capacity (8KG) and super fast spin (1600). LCD programmable, don't like dials. Sleek design, slots into a space where an integrated machine had been yet it doesn't protrude like other models could have. Pause button is invaluable, fast wash is great and quite effective too.

I love this washing machine, its quiet, its got a cycle for every type of wash and you can vary the temperature and spin speed yourself if need be. It has a quick wash which is sometimes necessary and I like the look of the machine.

Can't think of many bad points apart from the Spin Cycle is noisy. and there is an Eco option on the machine, but I find it adds about 30 - 45 mins to the cycle time ( not reallly a bad point unless you like your washing to be done quickly).

I am very happy with this washing machine. Cold fill is good because the combi boiler does not now have to fire up unnecessarily. My old machine was hot and cold fill and by the time the water had got from the boiler to the washing machine the machine has the required amount of cold water anyway. The door size is excellent and I particularly like the way the soap dispenser opens. Programmes are easy to understand and this machine, having made quite sure it was level, is very quiet when spinning and the 1200 spin brings towels out damp but not wet. It washes exceptionally well and has given my towels a new lease of life.

I can't find much to finf fault with. I'm delighted with the product. I like the 'daily' wash which is a 30 deg quick wash.

It is easy to use, i like the display time for each cycle. By adjusting water temperature you can shorten the cycle time (and hopefully energy used as well). Quiet,quick and seems a good clean.

Lots of different washes, fine if you can be bothered like me to read a manual. Not a plug and play machine.

This washer is extremely quiet. I have only used the quick wash setting so far, but I like how you can change the temperature and spin cycle. It sings a little tune to tell you the cycle has finished, then switches off automatically. The door opens really wide, and it has a large drum capacity. Had a washer dryer previously and don't miss it at all, the spin cycle is so good the clothes are left quite dry anyway, quickening the overall drying time.

Metal paddles in drum. Last washer had to keep replacing plastic paddles three at ten pounds each.Has filter at front of machine don,t know why all washing machines are not like that.Have put 7 out of ten for cycle times,I put clothes in dirty they come out clean. I,m a man what do I know about cycle times.

All cycles good apart from silk cycle. Especially like quick daily wash cycle for cover, provided for dog to protect my bedding!! Dog appreciate daily fresh clean bedding, as do we. Normal cycles are time consuming, but then who watches it work. Ample time to get other chores done. Overall excellent value and very happy with product.

would like the fast wash to be able to be spun on the 1400 spin.

On the quick settings the spin can sometimes be a bit low so clothes come out wetter, but then this is looking after the clothes and if you want a faster spin you can programme it yourself with the temp you would like.

I like the good wide drum and feel the clothes are well washed, also you can smell the conditioner on the clothes after the wash, with many machines you cannot.

The big drum is more than adequate for my family wash without having to do separate washes. The machine also offers different cycles advising how long each cycle lasts before setting. What I really like is when programme is finished it lights up END, even my husband now empties the machine without having to be asked/told!!!

Replaced old machine of same brand so knew it would perform. Quiet and like time display especially for overninght washing on cheaper rate electricity.

Noisey Larger items like duvet covers often need respinning to remove excess water. Instructions sparse and not easy to understand when first start using machine. Not obvious what each wash programme is used for.

I would like more flexibility to adjust some of the programmes to my own specification. For example you are unable to select a faster spin than 800 when washing synthetics. Some more robust synthetics are quite fine at 1000 or even 1400.

This model is very easy to use and understand. I like that the machine tells you how long the cycke has to go and allows you to pause the wash to put more items in so long as it hasn't filled up too much. The machine looks attractive and is quiet when running.

It's a fantastic washing machine. There isn't anything we don't like about it so far. It's big enough for our family of 5 - we still have to wash every day, but because of the very efficient spin speeds, we don't have to use the drier for as long. It's very user friendly, and we haven't had any problems at all in learning how to use it.

Grandson is drawn to it like a magnet.....ooooh look at the pretty lights grandad!

EVEN THOUGH IT ISN'T SILENT LIKE IT SAYS IT'S IS 1000% QUIETER THAN MY LAST ONE. IT'S EASY TO USE EVEN WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTIONS AS MY HUSBAND AND 15 YEAR OLD MANAGED TO GET IT GOING WITH NO PROBLEMS.

great big 8kg load means we do fewer washes and can easily wash things like loose sofa covers at home. Energy saving features are good and washer quietly purrs along in the background, recommended.

Some of the standard cycles are quite long and the number that shows when you select a cycle is not the time the cycle takes, even though that's what it looks like.

Firstly from a womans point of view, it's a blinder of a good looking machine adore the digital front and the slow flashing start/pause button.... (my other car if you like...looks there too are as important as performance)!! Love the fact that I have the use of a time saver to cut down slightly washing time, and love the sizable 7.5 drum. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so please forgive my 2 bad points!

So far everything is good with this washing machine, I particulary like the 'time' display feature so I know how long each cycle takes and I am also impressed with the 'energy saver' cycles and would use these the most. Getting started was straightforward as the instructions were easy to follow, even my husband, who would rarely use the washing machine, managed to set the correct cycle as the dials are clearly labelled. I have no complaints about the noise factor either as it is a big improvement on our last machine. I haven't used all the features yet as I don't have the machine very long but overall I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

The touch sensitive buttons on the front of the machine are a nightmare.You only have to brush past them ie when i am washing up and it alters or stops the program and my 2 year old son likes to press them to. A child lock feature so the programs cant be altered once the program has started would be a great idea. This feature is on some of their more expensive models.I paid alot more for this machine when compared to many other brands so would expect them to have put this feature on all of the models with the touch sensitive buttons.

Would like to select the individual spin speed for 1600 rpm for something like heavy towels or even small light weight rugs after they are washed on a low temperature. Haven't found this function yet!!

Absolutely fine as a new product. Can't say what it will be like in 3 years' time.

Large drum size means fewer washes for us, and hence saving in electric and water consumption. The controls are well thought out and it is very easy to customise a particular wash. Vibration free spin means it does not travel all over the floor like our previous machine (also an LG).

easy to use - nice big opening - takes plenty of clothes - we got it for the energy efficiency but it performs well - I like the steam cycle and please note it does spin only cycle - one of the previous reviews said it didnt

I like being able to select the temperature, additional rinses and spin speed. It seems to wash the clothes well, rinse them thoroughly (if additional rinses are selected) and spin speed.

None really. One thing I would like though - we had a dyson machine prior to this. This had a pull-out (and down) castor at the front, and was mounted on castors at the rear. This was great for ease of pulling it out to clean behind the machine. As the Miele's are so heavy, this would be a welcome function.

the final spin has a very loud high pitch. finish cycle alarm can be very irritating...doesn't need to go off quite as often. the touch button controls are very easy for a child ( 11mths) to change, even in mid cycle, without being noticed. Would benefit,admittedly rarely, but would like the option of a 'quick wash'

I haven't found anything bad as yet, this is my third Zanussi w/machine, I wouldn't keep buying them if I didn't like them. I liked my first one and my present one, as they both have timers on them, so I can do my washing during the night and it is ready to go out first thing in the morning, (weather permitting, that is)

I have always had Servis machines but had always liked the look of the indesit but could never afford it but the prices are now very competitive and the machine so far lives up to it's reputation.

Overall it's a great product. So cute and dinky, lots of useful features I haven't had on other machines like delayed start and quick wash. And makes barely any noise.
