I have two dogs and this is the first vacuum I've found that does what it says and picks up the hair and dirt they leave behind wherever they go. Initially I thought this vacuum was expensive and wondered whether its performance would justify the price - but it does and is worth every penny. I can't say I'll ever get to like vacuuming but this machine makes the whole process as quick and effective as I suspect it can be. The design is good with the parts such as tubes, brushes, filters fitting together easily and securely and the vacuum feels like it is built to last. I also like the way the bag seals itself as it's removed, so there's none of the swirling dust and dirt that I've previously had with bagless vacuums. I like this vacuum! |
sometimes feels a little heavy. |
It cleans heavy soiled areas quite well, carpets feel clean and smell fresh after use. |
Does not feel as sturdy as my previous model. |
when using the tools it tips over very easily. I thought this wouldnt be a problem, as it was such good value I bought it anyway, but now wish I hadnt. You feel you need to really be careful when using it as when it tips it can hit you, which hurts! or fall against something and damage it. |
Doesn't feel as good quality as a Dyson - inferior plastic bin which is a pain to empty. |
very powerfull suction, you can actually feel it lift the carpet up,very good on hard floors also, picks up all my pets hairs |
the handle is made of plastic feels as if it will break at any time, the position of the hose is really bad, difficult to wind the flex with this in the way, the flex winder should have been on the side, overall the machine is really tacky, plastic |
Well made. Free 5 year warranty. Very powerful suction. Quality feel |
After use my carpets feel clean! although not recommended for hard floors it is still as brill Didn't realise how dirty my carpets were even through they looked ok to the eye |
The main handle is telescopic and doesn't feel very sturdy (it wobbles a bit as you try to control left and right manouvering) although there is no risk of it breaking. Low cord exit at bottom of vac means you tend to step on it quite often. One other annoyance is the hose is an oval shape (non-standard) so it means older attachments can't be used. |
Cable being so low that it's constantly in the way unless you hold it. Handle can feel a bit flimsy when extended. |
The water system for filtration may seem a good idea but it makes my wife feel sick everytime she empties it (which must be after every use). If they could use a paper bag for everyday use this would be the ultimate machine. Oh and a bit heavy to carry but does have a long hose. |
The hose becomes soft, kind of wear'n'tear feeling several years later but may not have affected performance. SUGGESTION: How about having the hose/nozzle in any enlightening-color than boring-black! AND can it be made (1) smaller size body (2) folding hose for effective storage (3) good idea to have a jazzy/picturesque cover-bag for those with limited storage space. Any chance, please? |
lovely colour, easy to use, feels like a quality product that will last. |
The handle is adjustable and removable, but because of this it moves slightly as you use it to push the hoover. Feels like you don't have total control. |
handle feels loose due to dual purpose use. hose mounted too high causing the cleaner to tip over when using tools. no storage for turbo brush |
A bit heavy but feels solid |
Noisy, the turbo tool has no on-board storage place and it is made for a price point. So feels a little cheap. |
Some components seem to feel a bit 'cheap' though they function adequately. |
Cable not very long so have to change sockets a couple of times. Because the suction is so good the waste container does fill up quickly ( I need to empty it every second or third time). Plastic casing does not feel very robust but time will tell. Extension hose not very long but the Dyson is so light it is very easy to carry upstairs or to lift while cleaning ceiling, tops of curtains etc. Additional hose attachments have to be purchased separately but the hose attachment that comes with the machine has been adequate for most jobs. |
Feels flimsy althought the last one felt flimsy but lasted 8 years, fell to bits in the end but sucking to the last ! The ball is a bit of a gimmick, does not feel any more manourerable than anything else. |
The only bad point that i feel lets it drop a couple of marks is that it is very heavy to push. |
Handle feels very flimsy when you push the Dyson into a turn. |
Heavy machine but I feel that light ones cannot be so effective |
Good Suction Power. Robust feel. |
Quiet powerful and feels very well manufactured |
Very easy to use and feels very lightweight in use. Excellent suction power and good range of tools supplied |
can be a pain in the arse changing floor heads but if you feel a bit lazy there is a multi purpose head. Expensive (but well worth it) |
i ordered these two dysons, one for me one for my daughter having also got a dyson animal.i was really disappointed with the suction on the dysons, on both mine and my daughters, they are nothing like as good as my other dyson. the pick up and suction is poor.and i would not recommend this model i feel thgat i have wasted a considerable amount of money on what i though would be the best of vacs |
not sure about attachment yet as it feels tight & rigid, hopefully this is because its new & will wear off. |
This is my 3rd dyson, I feel that with this one, the hose is very stiff and difficult to use as there is little flexibility, I am hoping that with use, the hose will relax and become easier to use. Once again this model is a little heavy, this is only a problem when carrying it up and down stairs. |
Powerful motor, you can feel the carpet lifting off the floor, good capacity of dust storage. |
I bought this, not because I have a pet, but because my daughter and myself have long hair which collects on the carpets. My carpets look and feel so much better after using this. |
I have always had Hoovers up till now but the last two models ( conventional uprights ) failed after relatively little use and I chose this VAX model as a change. I have not been disappointed and am amazed how powerful the suction is as it re invigorates carpets not just merely cleans them. The additional accessories are also very useful and if I had a pet, I would find the turbo tool device a bonus. It is my first bagless cleaner and I was amazed to see just how much dirt and dust was vaccumed up but at least I can feel happier knowing the rooms are much cleaner. It is very effective at cleaning shallow pile carpets and mats and bare floors. |
There was no instructions and I was expecting a different nozzle or to be able to click the nozzle at a different level on hard floors to carpets but it's all the same. I feel it drags a bit on the carpet. |
Very well constructed - solid feel. Attachments very convenient |
not so easy to move around as needs some physical force. I feel the weakest part is the clip on the emptying unit - its very fragile and difficult to locate into position. sure over time this will break. My old Dyson was bad enough but this is not an improvement. When I sent back the guarantee I did pass comment that it seemed rather odd to have to cut off a piece to send back that was actually part of the guarantee - in fact the instructions was to send back - I could assume the whole thing - but that did not make any sense. |
The difference from the DC04 is amazing. The room feels and smells really clean. |
Too complicated and time consuming to clean and use. Very small does not hold a lot of dirt. I feel like i'm pulling it apart half the time to clean or use different parts. |
I feel the hose is a little awkward to use. |
The Sebo is the best vacuum I've ever had I would recommend it to anyone. The carpets look as good as new the pile is lifted and they feel soft to walk on. The Sebo is so easy to use it steers around corners and cleans right up to the edge of the carpet. Simply the best! |
Small and Light and very easy to move around in any direction on 3 ball type castors. Very well made product and has a feel of quality. All fittings lock in place so tools don't fall off in use. Very quiet operation even on most powerful setting. Incredible suction and works brilliantly on Hardwood flooring / Laminate and carpets. Long electrical cord gives plenty of flexibility without needing to keep unplugging and moving sockets. Hard to get excited about a cleaner but by far the best Vacuum i've ever bought or used. |
I have used Dyson for a number of years and feel they clean better than any other vacuum I have used in the past. I decided to buy a Dyson as my last one lasted years. |
plastic tube flexes slightly and the places where the tubes and electrical accessories attach wobble. I'm am sure the tube and joints are durable enough and should not put you off buying this model - I just don't like the feel of it! |
Good suction on carpet & hard floor. The pet filter works, no after smell left after vacuuming the dog mat. Feels light and is easy to push round. Had a 10 year old Sebo before this which was brilliant - this is even better. |
our old carpet has come back to it's new feel. |
The dust container is ridiculously small, so you have to empty it often - before each vacuuming usually. I can't help thinking they could make the design and use of the telescopic arm and attachments more user-friendly - I feel like I'm swapping between different attachments all the time. |
It does power itself along, so you have to hold it back when you pick up the flex to avoid running over. That is also a good point, as it feels so easy to use. I would prefer a light on the front so I can see into those dark corners to avoid hoovering coins up (though itt does have a "coin cache if you do). In all honesty, I'm still waiting to find a bad point. |
Not the trendiest of looking machines, and I thought it was expensive until I had used it, however everything about this machine ticks the boxes. Simple , effective, well engineered and it does the job. I was reluctant to get a "bagged" machine due to the cost of bags.. I used to empty my bagless machine at every use, and get covered in dust tapping out the filter each time. The Sebo has been in daily use for over a month now and I still haven't been told to empty the bag. It must compact the dirt very efficiently (I even checked the bag manually as I thought the bag empty light must be broken!). I have horses, dogs, grandchildren.. a very mucky house. The carpets have regained their youth. It is quick, thorough and I actually look forward to using it! I am a very happy purchaser and the only regret I have is that I didn't buy this machine 2 yrs ago when I bought my last vacuum cleaner. It also goes flat enough to go under our kingsize bed.. that use to be a major chore moving the bed before Sebo came.No need now. This machine feels as if it will outlive me! |
I feel the accessories could have been of a better quality |
Plastic feels a bit flimsy as if it would crack easily |
Noisy, a bit plasticky and it feels a bit flimsy. I suspect we might be back to the market for another vacuum cleaner in a couple of years, |
Excellent suction, leaves the air feeling cleaner. Lightweight and easy to move. Good long hose to reach stairs and ceilings. |
Just about everything is very good. It is easy to assemble, feels strong and easy to use . I especially like going back to bags as it is a lot cleaner and less smelly (I have three dogs) and doesn't need emptying so often as it compresses the dirt. |
I always buy Dyson as I feel they clean extra special especially as I have real wood flooring it has been a great help to hoover floors as well as rugs and carpets I specially like the tool for stairs so much more advanced than my last Dyson (which has been passed onto my Daughter who is delighted) |
Feels robust. Has powerful suction. |
Very efficient. Very easy to change heads. The revolving brush head is not found on any other comparable product. It works very well indeed, I feel. A well designed product over all, as one would expect from Dyson. But you have to pay for the quality and the good design. |
Feels solid, great 'picker-up'. |
really good suction, cleaned the house from top to bottom when it arrived - everywhere now looks and feels so clean. love the way you empty the cleaner, fast and no mess! |
in comparison to other hoovers it is very expensive. It is very heavy to manage on the stairs or to carry. The hose could do with being longer and I have a feeling it will damage quickly because of the strain on it and the design where the stretchy part ataches to the harder pipe. It is loud. Autistic spectrum child finds this hard to cope with. |
Like how you can feel the machine working - it sticks to the carpet, leaving the air fresher for longer than my last vaccumn. Very light and fairly pleasant to use. |
Plastic feels cheap. Quite heavy |
extending handle feels very big but I suppose I will get used to it, also way it gets pulled along by flexi is not as good as original |
Everything. I was particularly impressed with the build quality, everything feels so solid and is well thought out. I hummed and haahed over buying this for weeks as it's around 4 times the price of similar vacuums, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. Worth every penny. |
No carrying handle as such - makes lifting more dificult than it should be. Feels a bit fragile so not sure how long the product will stay in good condition. |
Good suction, ease of use, extra long hose for stairs, quietish, auto height adjustment for different floor coverings, feels solidly made. |
Does not suck up as much liquid as would like. Carpet still feels slightly damp after use. |
Its a Dyson! I like the flat head, very important for us as have wooden, tile and carpeted areas. My mum has to stowaway animal which has a turbo head, I much prefer this head as goes under anything etc. feels less harsh. we have a dog, its fine for the hairs. Tools are great, the small head is great for the sofa, car and curtains, and I use the small round brush on the dado-rails and doors etc, overall a good set of tools, very functional. We were looking at other cheeper bagless models ad then got given one, it was completely useless! locked on the first go. But the Dyson just keeps sucking, even after building work mess. As the saying goes.... 'if you want something like a Dyson, get a Dyson'. We are quite happy with ours. |
small size means it's really easy to store in the cupboard. this convenience means that i'm much more likely to hoover! it's light and mavouverable. it's v easy to empty. the suction seems to be amazing. feel like it's really deep cleaning our carpets. just great that the tools are 'on board'. simple and easy to use. i'm really pleased with it. |
It feels a bit fragil, I fear I might pull too hard and damage it |
I actually prefer my 8 year old upright by dyson - it feel more sturdy, takes up less space for storage and also the DC08 tends to scratch my laminate floor.... |
It has a long hose (good point!) that feels somewhat like wrestling an oversized slinky in the sink when I rinse it out. A very minor down side/ |
For the sake of a shorter packing box the need to assemble the handle with its critical electrical connection is an accident made to happen. The repair box came taller than the original box with the handle assembled and in place. I feel this is how it should have arrived in the first place. The sweeper is perhaps a little heavy . Due to the friction of air and dust on the interior of the dust drum an electrostatic charge builds up on the outside of the drum and this in turn attracts dust. It is necessary to vacuum the cleaner on the outside before storing. |
Excellent way to remove dirt from the cyclone tube - much better than previous models - cleaner, less dust and user friendly. Excellent suction, brush on the front really helps on carpets to sweep up the pile. Accessories feel more robust than previous models and fit securely into the vacuum itself. Reliable as all my other previous Dyson's have been. |
The ball makes the hoover feel a bit fragile (I'm sure it's not) |
Fabulous suction. Turbo brush in 2 sizes are excellent. Feels like a quality product. |
The extending hose doesn't reach the top of my stairs and the hose feels a little flimsy (feels like it might snap). |
One of the main reasons for getting this model was the statement on the website that 'you need never buy a replacement bag', yet the bag shows a picture of it being removed and placed in the bin. Very disappointed with this as I feel it is false advertising and now I will still have to buy (expensive) bags. With the longer pipes, I thought I would be able to suck up all those cobwebs without having to climb up and down a chair, but the (very short) nozzle does not cover the hole on the pipe so does not suck efficiently. Bag surprisingly small. |
Great suction. Cleans to edges due to design of head. Variable power setting a big advantage. Quiet performer. Functional design and feels well made. Appears robust but manages to look great, too. |
solid well made and works very efficiently, get the feeling he's built to last |
Not used to an upright so feels heavy to use Cyclinder fills up very quickly, so need to empty after 2/3 uses |
telescopic tubing feels a bit cumbersome. |
This does not feel as good, it's i do not feel it's as well made, as the 04, and tools are harder to fix on |
A very well thought out design which is exceptionally well carried through to construction. Feels durable and is generally a quality bit of cleaning kit! |
I think the hose part of the Dyson DC07i is the bad point. It still does a good job but it feels quite flimsy compared to the DC04. |
Quite heavy, feels heavier that my old Dyson. Also the hose for stairs etc is not as long as old Dyson. |
VERY EASY TO OPERATE, ALL THE TOOLS AT HAND, CARPETS LOOK AND FEEL BETTER. |
Fabulous suction really feels like it gives flooring a really good clean. Quiet so doesn't freak the dog out. Lovely colour Easy to use and glides easily. |
one small gliche I feel is the proximity of the start button to the handle as I keep switching on when I lift it although my husband thinks perhaps I may be lifting it back to front however, this is the way I used to lift my previous Dyson vacuum and it did not have this problem. Nothing major but worht consideration for future models perhaps? |
It sometimes feels a bit bulky. |
Impressed with the power, the weight and the quality of the unit. Has a good warranty, but is expensive so you pay for it over time. It moves well and feels comfortable in use. |
Great suction, noticable pick-up difference over my old Panasonic. Feels really solid & sturdy to use. |
When emptying the button that lets the bottom fall away feels a little flimsy |
The suction is absolutely incredible and the front brush is so good it feels like a new carpet afterwards. The ball design does make it easier to maneuver. The extra long cord is great for avoiding changing plug sockets every five minutes. |
Very heavy - I feel like my shoulder is about to collapse after using it all over the house. I also have to carry it up and downstairs and it's quite cumbersome. |
A bit top heavy - feels as if it is going to fall over when turning off and quite a bulky machine. |
The cleaning of stairs is not as good I was lead to believe - the Cleaner moves around as the hose is not as supple as I think it should be when extended. Not happy carrying it up and down the stairs as I feel the handle on the container is not stable enough - as a result I am carrying it like a Baby! |
My carpets came up like new, it has very good suction and it feels strong and sturdy. |
I never feel I get the dust container properly clean. My previous Dyson 1, I was able to rinse out the container when it looked really dusty. I empty it more frequent to my previous one...due to its reduced size..not so convenient |
Handle feels weak compared with rest of machine. Cleaner is heavy to carry upstairs |
Having only used a conventional dyson before with 4 wheels it takes some getting used to the new ball system and to start with although the hoover is very light in weight it feels very heavy to use. |
The only bad point I feel is the design of the tools compartment lid - it is very flimsy. |
Extension pipe feels stiff and unwieldy in use. |
Good quality feel. Extending pipe is excellent. Relly does pick up the dog hairs - even in the moulting season! |
Can feel heavy when using for a long time. |
I feel it could of done with a handle on the top to help carry it around whilst vacuuming, as opposed to dragging it around behind you by the hose. |
I get my house work done in no time and I like to see what it all picks up I feel my house is clean. |
The extendable wand, which forms part of the handle, is a little cumbersome and not that easy for cleaning the stairs or in a confined space (not easy to reach the top step without feeling as though you are going to overstretch the hose. |
It's design is emaculate, therefore after use you feel oblidged to clean it. It means removal of the filter which can be messy. |
We noted in reviews that the main complaint was that the unit was heavy. We would agree with that, but feel this is a small critisism one soon forgets when veiwing the results. |
Accessories holders aren't at all well designed - bits keep falling off as we use it! It looks and feels like a cheap model. |
Very long hose and electric lead. Very strong suction, quiet motor, hose rotates 360 degrees. The cleaner feels well made and solid. |
Feels cheap in comparison to our last dyson dc01 that we had for 11 years. No way will this last that long. |
Vacuum doesn't feel as solid as our old Dyson. Plastic feels much flimsier. |
Feels slightly fragile, fills up very quickly - small capacity. |
The hose kinks very easily and the telescopic wand feels a bit flimsy. |
feels heavy |
Cover for the tools is a bit flimsy and feels like it will break quite easily. |
Needs to feel a little more heavy duty and robust |
Very easy to manoeuvre, glides effortlessly across all floors. Excellent suction and pickup from all floors. Smart design, looks appealing. Feels well-built and designed. |
The hoses keep falling off the back when in use. The dirty water tank fills up quite often, necessitating frequent emptying. The fluff that builds up in the lower edges of the dirty water tank cannot be flushed out, and necessitated unscrewing all the screws to take tank apart to clean. I feel it would be easier to have the process of cleaning reversed so that you squeeze the shampoo/water when in forward motion and drying and sucking up water on the backward motion. Confused as to how much cleaning solution to put in each tank full. |
Very well built, feels like quality, amazing suction power, came with three heads, one having a beater bar in it, great for on the carpet, very easy to use and smart design to put away, I love that it's got bags, as I find bagless very messy, all in all absolutly love it!! Before buying, I looked for reviews on-line and didn't find anything very helpful - I would recommend this vacuum to anyone! |
Compared to a cylinder vacuum it can be heavy & quite awkward if you're not used to uprights. Tight spaces are awkward too & the powerful suction can sometimes feel too powerful when using the hose extended for corners & hard to reach edges etc. The hose itself is flimsy is not very easy to manipulate with the power of the suction when cleaning sofas etc. |
A VERY GOOD MACHINE, CLEANS EXCELLENTLY, EASY TO USE. FEELS WELL MADE. |
The lack of a multi directional wheel means it is difficult to get around corners the push fit joints feel cheap |
Partner feels it doesn't pick up very well, and threatens to buy a new machine. However, I think it is ok for the price. |
very easy to use and feels lighter than previous dysons i have had. |
The self propelled part is terrible. You feel like you're pushing against it all the time. It is very hard to vacuum. You can turn this feature off but mine wouldn't turn off. Also it would not pick up properly from my thick pile carpet. I have now returned this to VAX and they have given me a new model which is much better |
Incredible cleaning performance, carpets look and feel like new!!! |
The machine is very bulky and it is not completely straightforward to assemble to carry out the particular job you want to do i.e. washing the carpet and I feel should I have a water spillage by the time I've worked out which bits to use and put them together or taken out the bits I don't need there would be even more water to suck up. There are also so many 'do nots' that it almost puts you off using it. |
Too much plastic, feels cheap and flimsy. Dust box too small |
Great cleaner does exactly what it says, and is very powerful for the wattage stated. Looks neat and the easy stowaway handle allows for placement in small heighted areas when not in use. Does a good job of cleaning worn or one sided carpets where heavey traffic or excessive wear and tear has occurred, bringing up the fibres to an almost new feel giving a pleasure to walk on barefoot!!! |
Bag fills up quickly. A newer model (24) is coming out in March which is lighter, cheaper and has bigger drum. Extension hose feels awkard to use and doesn't go as far as the last one I had (no1). Can't use turbine brush attachments on this model. |
- Some of the plastic parts look like they have stress-lines, but feel sturdy enough (not cracks) |
Works well, longer handle than most, feels solid. Picks up well. |
It's surprisingly compact, has a very efficient suction system that is speed variable and feels like it's built to last. This is the third one I've bought, people keep borrowing them and never bring them back! Small things like the mains lead is actually very long and when you press the rewind lever for the mains cable, all of it rewinds back into the case. Also, it doesn't look like a something from a Transformers movie. |
very noise plastic tubes feel a little cheap too. |
The lid for the tools is very flimsy and does prove difficult to shut once you have taken things out and put them back in! It doesn't feel like it will last |
Flex too short 'Bag' too small so needs emptying too often Looks a bit plasticky but feels more sturdy than that |
-feels cheap -not very powerful -takes ages to finish job -stange smell when started, like a burning smell, might be the new plastic |
Dirt tends to cling to the filter rather than dropping to the bottom of the bin so performance decreases dramatically long before the bin is full. Rather flimsy clips for cable and hose storage; I get the feeling that something is likely to break off with use though nothing has as yet. When deploying or stowing the hose it's difficult not to accidently operate the on/off swich. |
i feel it cleans the carpets very well, and also picks up on my laminate floor. |
NOT SURE YET BUT FEEL THE BAG MAY BE TOO SMALL |
Found it very fiddly to put cleaner back together after I had opened to empty the collected dust. Took me 15 mins + to get it to click together, instructions were of no help at all on this point, doesn't feel particularly robust. As its bagless, even tho sealed compartment, best to empty outside. Filter needs washing frequently - or maybe its just working very efficiently! |
Quite difficult for the elderly to push, feels as if you've had a session in the gym! |
Very quiet and effective cleaner; tools are robust and not flimsy; actually picks up our dog's hairs, unlike many other cleaners we've tried; bag is a decent size so doesn't fill up too quickly; seemingly no more expensive than other cleaners that promise the world and fall apart in weeks. This one actually feels as if it will last years |
The hose does not move easily and often gets kinked. The unit is not very easily manoeuvered around without tipping over. The plastic pipes, besides feeling and looking cheap, are difficult to slot and fix together. It will not pick-up some os the more basic debris, such as fluff. |
Feels rather heavy to push. |
I still feel that the attachments fall off to easy. This has been a common problem on all the dysons I have had. |
Feels slightly heavy to manouver. |
Only had the cleaner 2 months and the motor blew up! The cylinder pipe for cleaning by hand is very heavy, feels like you are constantly pulling it from machine - if you are elderly, you probably wouldn't use this as it would be too difficult- but besides that is seems very good. |
I love everything about this hoover, the main thing being that it can cope with all our dog and cat hair, you really feel it leaves nothing behind. The removeable cylinder is a fantastic feature with our steep stairs! |
Still feels a touch heavy, it does require a bag but I feel this is a more reliable system with better suction than the none bagged. |
Its cleaning capacity is better than I could have hoped for. It was more expensive than the last vacuum (Hoover) that I bought but it's a lot better and I feel confident it will last a lot longer. The cleaning head is extremely flexible. It makes it almost a pleasure to vacuum! |
the lid can be be a problem as it tends not to close securely without resonable force also feels flimsy. |
Feels quite heavy |
really quiet, the suction is excellent really feels like the carpet is getting a thorough clean. Miele has a good reputation anyway have had miele washing machine now for 8 years and still washes brilliant, Miele microwave which is fab so had to buy my first vacum and wish now i had bought one earlier. Just got rid of dyson and all i can say is good riddance! |
Manoeuvrable and well made. feels as if it will las t a long time. |
light, powerful suction, great multi purpose main tool for hard & carpeted floors. wrap arpund hose & tool storage means its takes up hardly any space (the least of any vacumn I've owned), also means its easy to carry to a different floor (no tripping over pipes & hoses when coming down stairs). cleans the carpet really well, sucks up dust & dirt that you didn't realise was there, but the dyson does all the work for you so it doesn't feel hard work. easy to attach all the tools & take apart for storage. I'd strongly recommend |
The fan on the front blowing dust around the room! The handle feels a little weak and like it might snap! |
the nozzels dont feel secure, the cord rewind seems like it may stop working very soon and its noisy. |
Its very heavy, the handle feels wobbly when you manouvre it, its big to store away |
topples over very quickly, cumbersome to lug it up each stair, cable too low therefore it has to be over your shoulder all the time (strangle yourself sometimes), cable is too short therefore you have to keeping plugging the cleaner in each room, stair accessory feels too flimsy. |
Foot operated start seems cumbersome and feels if the mechanism is likely to break |
Suction is great almost sucks the pattern off the carpet. The ease of emptying. I also like the colour subconsciously it makes you feel energetic. |
I find it a little awkward to use the nozzle as you have to take out the handle and then re-attach it the other way. Also, the hose it quite springy so it feels a bit awkward when you need to use the nozzle. My daughter and I have quite long hair and it does get wrapped around the roller and I have to use the scissors to cut through the hair to remove it. |
the filter is hard to clean and feels like its gonna brake when taking it apart , one part of mine is plastic welded and cant be taken apart cos it will brake. |
wheels on the suction piece makes it feel like your not doing anything. Have to go over each area many times to remove debris. |
Handle feels flimsy when extended |
Too heavy in the body whilst vacuuming (feels like you are carrying the weight all the time)- not really unsuitable for elderly or infirm cumbersome releasing handle from machine hose does not reach full extent of stairs and very strong pullback suction on fabrics too strong |
It picks up the muck - all of it. My carpets have changed colour, back to the original which I'd nearly forgotten about. Also the carpets now feel good to bare feet. Easy to empty. Makes me feel housework might just possibly be worth the effort! |

not much suction, i dont really feel it does what it sais it should! A bit pointless as a hoover. |
Quite small - not much hose extension. Due to size, does not feel that solid. |

Whilst Dyson is an excellent brand I do feel they are somewhat over-priced. That said, I did get an excellent deal online. |

It seems silly to quibble as it is such a cheap but powerful vacuum cleaner. However, I did find that I perhaps had to empty the "dust bin" more than I may have had to if the design had been altered just slightly to smooth out the sharp edges within the dust bucket. Dust and hairs would catch on the sharp edges and corners within the bucket, blocking flow through it and causing the performance to worsen. If these were smooth rather than sharp, I believe the overall performance of the vacuum would be vastly improved, making it an all round excellent product. The plastic tubing of the hose made it "feel" like a very cheap vacuum (which of course, it is! So this would be a very petty bad point!). The only other improvement I feel it could make, would be to extend the power cable. Again, a small point. |
Would be perfect if the "bladder" (which holds the hot water) was bigger, but on the flip side, that may make it heavier and more difficult to fill. Does use a fair amount of shampoo, but the results are worth it - I have pets and was very pleased with the overall results, and feel this really was value for money. May be a little heavy/tricky to lift for some people, but I really like it! |

cable is too short, i had a 2000 w hoover before and although this hoover has the same power, it doesn't feel like it, trash cylinder is full very fast.... |
The handle feels alittle bit flimsy could of been made stronger. The power cord is too short & could of been made with stronger material because if accidently run over it can slightly cut into the outer casing of the lead. |

Light and easy to use. Ability to clean underneath chairs and beds is very useful - the machine will almost become as flat as the front part of the machine. I've not needed to change a bag yet. Good performance -- you can feel the suction on the carpets. Very efficient too on hard surfaces. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend the machine. |
The worst thing for me is I feel it is quite heavy but I do manage it. |
Does not feel very substantial but nothing has broken so far so it must be strong enough to do the job |
I have a lower back problem, even with extended pole still feel I get lower back pain after a while. I am only 5 foot 4 so not a tall lady and only in my thirties so not elderly, this is my only bad point:( Extension pole needs to be a bit longer. |

Great performance on both carpet and hard floor with simple detachment of the base to switch between the two. Design nice and simple and looks a bit retro. I had a Dyson before which was totally over-designed and looked like a spaceship with too many plastic bits that broke off with a bit of wear and tear. This feels like it's been designed to clean the floor rather than look good in the cupboard. |

The hoover attachment feels a bit flimsy. |
really feels like its grabbing at the carpet to lift all the dirt away, really good suction too |
