The sound quality is excellent, and Sony are finally starting to catch up with cracking accessories.</p><p>Software is still not up to iPod standard, but it's much faster than before and doesn't crash like the old software did. It can also be a little slow through menus once it's full, but not so much that it frustrates.</p><p>All you could really want in an MP3 player is a big hard drive, good sound quality, easy to use software and all the accessories you could want. This does it for me, and I feel I get value-for-money from Sony, whereas I've always felt ripped off by Apple.</p>
