Despite the problems, I bought a second one the same.</p><p>Problems with sound/picture synchronisation when playing back recordings. Some frequently used remote control buttons (play, stop, wind, rewind) are too small and too near other less important buttons - too fiddly. Hard disk does not appear to be as large as advertised (i.e. it should be 160Gb, but the machine says it is less (it said this even before I'd first used it)).
