sound quality portable range of stations and recording facility

controls a bit confusing, needs large number of batteries so have not bought them. not sure how to put in favourites

Recording DAB onto SD, pause live radio, playable formats, connectivity, EPG, Alarms, etc. Some say sound is poor...well I love the sound in say a room 9m square, bass is adequate which is important for a good round sound this radio eminates. Indeed probably not so good for your average mansion size lounge than many appear to have! I bought this one for a relative, who bought me one a while back in 2007! Have not used cells or the 'pak', but being able to use everything bar solar, have given an 8/10 for effort! Well Done Pure!!

Does not make a cuppa in the morning!

Ease of use and setting up very good. It looks good and sounds good. Remote control a bonus for when working.

The recording facility which was my principle reason for purchase.

Poor reception other than on DAB No external airial socket facility, if there was an adaptor I would be very interested. Confusing and unclear manual where I supplimented sections in order to operate the functions provided.

Sound quality, SD card option for storing MP3 files. Retro design.

Cannot update software via USB (doesn't work). SD card limited to 2GB
