I bought these phones to help an aged relative to hear her TV. She is hard of hearing and has poor sight so needs phones that she can use easily whilst also moving about the room. She is delighted with the phones (and so are the neighbours). We tried other manufacturers products but she found them too heavy/large and she is very happy with these.

The black plugs and leads all look the same and were a bit confusing for my relative but she was able to cope as I labelled them for her. Different coloured leads would be less confusing for an aged person.

they work.

volume button is difficult to use when head phones are on, I have to take them off to find/use the button. Often have noise interference too. rather bulky.

A big selling point for this product is that It is wireless, no clumsy cables here and there. The reception is quite good, probably to a range of a good couple of yards and it has its own volume control. It also saves you some money as in the batteries are re-chargeable. Plus the price is reasonable, at least for a Philips product.

In terms of head size, unlike most headsets, the item is not adjustable. Though the batteries last about three days once fully charged, it takes a long time to get them going. To prevent them dying on you, I would suggest charging them throughout the night, every night. More disappointing though, is the sound quality. If you like your music loud and bassy then this item would let you down. Finally, the transmission channels which are meant to prevent interference (background noise) do absolutely nothing.
