This one is easy to carry and I can hold it whilst vacuuming if I need to which is great. I haven't noticed any decrease in performance, in fact the reverse. It comes with plenty of accessories which covers all types of floors and size rooms/crevices. No arm ache pushing a heavy upright back and forwards is telescopic so I can get the height just right. Swivelling head is great for nooks and crannies. The motorised brushes are great. And cord rewind is great too.</p><p>It has a bigger footprint, so although is stowaway it needs more floorspace than an upright.
