Does well as a notebook, email machine, web surfer The version of Open office on the machine is Ok for most jobs.

Not a high performance machine but then its not expensive. It runs under Linux which has not caused me any problems but is unfamiliar to a Windows user

Weight, size ,strength

Battery Life.......it is not really portable. Would prefer XP version

It was purchased to be left in a self-catering cottage for use by guests who need to send emails etc. It seems to work perfectly well and is a handy size... that particular cottage is not online, so folk can carry it down to the local pub (which is WiFi)

I have not much experience of laptops so may be a poor judge... I found it just a little TOO small for convenience and (perhaps unreasonably) I would have liked the image to fill rather more of the available "screen" or inside-of-the-lid.

Good size, small and handy

Screen too small for prolonged use, only good for mail on the move.

Size and quality was the reason I bought this computer, it is up to expectations on both. Looks great with the leather cover I bought.

Batery life not that great.
