Problems loading your Hoover HED6612 Dishwasher?

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 by Kat

Quite a few of the people who reviewed the Hoover HED6612 on Reevoo encountered a problem with fitting their 10″ plates on the bottom rack.  One visitor to our site spotted these reviews and emailed us with a solution.

Because we’re committed to only publishing reviews from people we can 100% guarantee own the product, we can’t put this tip with the other reviews.  (Want to know how we can be so sure - read how we collect reviews.)  But we’re pretty sure this tip came from someone who owns the dishwasher and it’s certainly  something worth knowing, so we’re posting it here.

Over to Jenny, our helpful emailer:

Like many reviewers we found that this dishwasher would not take 10” plates on the bottom rack. The book that comes with the machine does not make it clear that the top rack can be raised.

Pull the top rack out, at the end of the track that the rack sits on remove the two white tabs that stop the rack sliding out of the machine, pull the rack out and then put it back, locating the lower set of wheels in the track, replace the two white tabs, job done!

When you look in the rear of the cabinet it looks like the tube that connects the spinning washer arm will not connect , but it does as there are two positions, and the lower setting automatically fits.
