Moto mistake

Don’t say we don’t help you out here at Decide What to
Buy. I feel it’s my duty to warn you about the most slated mobile handset in
Reevoo’s history – the Motorola Motofone F3.
Marketed as having great battery life and
sound quality, it certainly does not deliver on its promises, according to the
poor souls who bought it.
It received a score of 4.7/10 from the 93 people who
reviewed it. Never before have more people left such negative comments on a
handset.
Here’s the spec from the Motorola website:
So what’s so bad about it?
Despite its claims about battery life, one reviewer
complained that it “only lasts one day” while others commented on its poor usability.
David from Port Talbot said it was “very difficult to use, in fact so bad it has never
been used”. And on its sound quality, a couple of people did actually cite it
as one of its very few good points but Helen from Sheffield decided it should definitely
be put down as a negative.
Here are some more responses from people who were
asked what the Motofone F3’s bad points were:
“No good for texting or anything else” – Barbara, Hove
“everything… hard navigation, there is nothing to
navigate, almost impossible to write or read a text message… and a lot more”
- Grazyna, Plymouth
“Everything. Poor design, poor software” – Anonymous
“Infuriating to text with — accessing / changing
settings a pain” – Terry, Glasgow
“looks like a toy made for kids” – Dan Hampshire
“It only came with a ‘noddy’ guide which it made it
laboursome to initially set-up” – Ian, Kent
J Mistry from London has summed up what the majority
of people said about the phone – “This has been a bad purchase and I wish I
could get a refund as I am not going to use it or give it to my children to
use. It is the worst design I have ever [seen]” He finishes with “Everthing
about the phone is useless”.
So there you go, you’ve been warned. And if that didn’t
work, I thought I’d end on one final comment from an anonymous reviewer “get
this phone out of the market” – hmmmmm.
Those of you who want a proper phone can avoid picking
one like this by reading the handset reviews on Reevoo first.
