At least we’re good at something…
It’s surveys galore this week! In a bid to
plug their new plasma TVs, LG have commissioned a survey that reveals we Brits
are the most sports-obsessed nation in Europe…watching sport on TV, that is.
Although we seem to be football obsessed at
the moment – v exciting stuff last night – apparently we’re more interested in
watching the Olympics later this year, than Euro 2008. 50 per cent of people
surveyed said they’d be tuning into the Olympics compared to 36 per cent for
Euro 2008, 22 per cent for the Tour de France and 19 per cent for the various tennis championships.
And here’s a stat for the nutritionists,
according to LG, nearly a quarter of us can spend between nine and 30 hours a
week watching sport on TV. That’s more sport-related couch potatoness than any
other nation! Well even if we are rubbish at football, at least we’re winning
at something. Good work! Let’s not let the side down, check out TV reviews on
Reevoo to make sure you get the right one. Bring on the crisps!
Oh, and just to satisfy the folks at LG, here’s all the LG TV reviews.
