Plasma screen TVs are one of the two main alternatives if you want a flat-screen TV. They have a couple of advantages over LCD screens. They have a faster response time, which makes them great TVs for sports and ideal for gaming. Because of the way the images are made, plasma screens have better contrast ratios than LCD screens and the blacks are deeper and darker.
Plasma screens are pricier than LCDs, although you can still get some plasma TVs under £500. Full HD 1080p plasma TVs are as common as lower-definition HD Ready ones.
For a plasma screen to be energy efficient, it has to be quite large, so you’ll find most plasma screens are 37” or above. You can find some 32” plasma screens Size in Inches/32/Type of Screen/Plasma, and 42” plasma screens Size in Inches/42/Type of Screen/Plasma are very popular too, but this screen type really shines at higher sizes. For the serious home cinema aficionado, there’s nothing to beat a 50 to 65 inch screen
