Aimed at the high end of the printer market the Epson R2880 is a formidable beast. Launched in Summer 2008 the A3 Stylus printer offered amazing colour reproduction with its 8 colour palette, strong black and white results, and out-of-the-box perfect quality.
Although pricey, the R2880 is worth the investment. It not only offers superb quality but is easy to setup and maintain and has fantastic supporting software. Reviewers say it’s got “great print quality”, “it’s quiet” and “it’s fast”. The whole printer is just 13 inches wide, making it one of the smallest in its class. Couple this with the addition of ‘vivid magenta’ in the ink palette and it’s hard to fault the Epson R2880, especially when printing those rich, saturated holiday snaps.Terry , HIGH WYCOMBE

+ Superb quality printing , easy to use software , superb colour rendition , range of paper sizes and media acceptability , direct cd printing , thick media , roll media . Prints that will last our lifetime . Extremely lifelike prints . I don't see the speed option as relevant as those that want quality are prepared to wait and it's fast enough for me compared to older printers .
- would not suit those who want hi - glossy prints , more for people who want natural looking prints . This is geared towards the pro - end if the market , that's not a bad point just needs those wishing to buy to know .

+ It gives me top class prints first time, elimiting the time wasting repeats that I had become used to previously. Also, the printing is much faster and a much more rewarding experience.

+ Excellent colour prints on normal copy paper as well as on dedicated glossy papers

+ Excellent quality photo printing. Easy set-up. Easy maintenance. Separate colour cartridges.
- Two types of black cartridge have to be swapped in and out depending on paper used.
