Reevoo Customer Choice Awards 2009

We’re proud to announce the Reevoo Customer Choice Awards 2009 – the first consumer product awards voted for entirely by customers who have bought the products. Using more than half a million reviews we have identified the outstanding products in each main electrical goods category.
These awards are based entirely on the hands-on, considered views of shoppers who have parted with their own money to buy these products. Everybody keeps telling us that this – the way we collect reviews – is the most helpful and reliable basis of customer opinion.
In addition to the top three in each category, we also gave awards to products offering exceptional value for money – again, based entirely on what customers have told us. If you want to feel sure that you’re spending your hard-earned cash in the best possible way, look no further than our Value Award Winner in each category.
The 2009 awards by category:
Gold award
We give the gold award to the product with the highest overall score in its awards category. It must have at least fifteen reviews and be currently available to buy.
Silver award
We give the silver award to the product with the second-highest overall score in its awards category. As with all winners, it must also have at least fifteen reviews and be currently available to buy.
Bronze award
We give the bronze award to the product with the third-highest overall score in its awards category. As with all winners, it must also have at least fifteen reviews and be currently available to buy.
Value award
We give the value award to the product rated best value for money in its awards category. As with all winners, it must also have at least fifteen reviews and be currently available to buy.
Whilst Reevoo.com is all about helping shoppers decide what to buy, the Reevoo Customer Choice Awards are about identifying the real cream of the crop. We know that deciding which product to buy is often a tricky process; people shopping for a television, for example, have around 400 to choose from and what makes it even harder is that most of these are pretty good! So we asked the opinion of more than 5 million shoppers, collected around 600 thousand reviews across 23 thousand products currently available to buy, and used all this information to generate a definitive list of 63 exceptional products; with those kinds of sample sizes you can really trust the consumers’ best picks! To make these awards even more relevant and reliable we have only included products that are still available for purchase, and only products where at least 15 reviews have been written by confirmed purchasers.
